Canadians are cockey...huh? Although I'll give it up that Duane's got some reason to justify it from what I've heard and read... saw your car in the 80's shoot out (which you should have won, since the other cars were garage queens).

No A/C or ps and it weighs over 3600?

Is this some kind of strategy (as in give me 2 lengths) , like on Pinks?:sarcasm:

Seems to me I saw a picture of you somewhere and you didn't look like you weighed 300 pounds, so what gives?

Show-wise my car is nothing special anymore. Bomex kits are a dime a dozen and the bar for exterior looks has gone up, up and up over the years. as much as i would like to keep modifying the exterior to keep up, i have to call it quits at some point, and i have. a different bumper setup is in the works but again nothing out of the ordinary. im actually looking foreward to seeing ur setup once its done and even more happy to see it in person. there are ALOT of clean mk3's roaming around now that deserve more than one trophy at SILV. i look foreward to seeing some new stuff this year at the show. for me... my aim this year is to seriously put the power to the floor WITH traction and put up a decent time at the track for once without breaking anything. :)

Cocky? LOL, I am just stating that my car is also heavy even without the A/C and such. I weigh 172 if you really want to know ;)

My car has an OEM hood,seats, has a cage and bigger turbo intercooler etc.. It weighs over 3600 but not sure exactly how much.

yes he should of won, but i mean that was a bullshit test if you actually read it. and he drove his car all the way down for the event. i give him big props for doing that, and then being able to drive back up.


i dont think you have a chance. unless you are making 800+ period.

Actually I could have driven back but I stopped off on the way back to a drag strip and broke it. :sarcasm: The event at Willow was cool other than the fact they wouldn't let me use slicks for the drag race portion. :cry: Hey Sean, you have to admit, they did a decent write up on the car anyway :)
