Pussy. I'll be driving ~2300 miles each way. I guess I'll be the only real street car to show up and run! :D

I thought that the point of a street car was that it would be comfortable and able to make long drives :biglaugh:

Oh wait....

Its coming...

A "street" car IMO is something that you can drive anywhere, Vegas for example, which I've done twice ;) Driving in traffic for an hour doesn't cut it and you know it. You sound just as bad as the domestic guys and their 7 second tubbed mustangs calling them street cars.

His car is able to make long drives. But comfortable? Have you tried to get into his car? It's a good thing he's a scrawny little guy. Anyone with some meat on their bones would have taken a sawzall to that cage long ago... :biglaugh:

Add in the lack of AC... and power steering...

I'll drive the 2000km there with my AC on, and one finger on the steering wheel, thanks. I dunno if I'm willing to actually race it there, the tow bill for 2000+ km is pretty damn ugly. Probably cheaper to buy a shop in Vegas and fix it there!

I'll be rolling in the official SILV08 Minivan again - not mine luckily.

I was VERY impressed with the Sienna minivan last year. Rolling at California highway speeds - and still getting passed by SUVs - the tach on the Sienna read just over 2000rpms. WHAT?!? That's insane! I was getting mileage nearly as good as Chris J in his 89T.

One of these years I'll bring my white 89T back to Vegas.

I could drive to Vegas but I choose not to. Why? because I am running slicks and racing my car and beating the hell out of it, are you? I didn't think so. I guess I could just drive it and do no events, that's another option too.

Ask any local how much I drive my car ;) I have driven to California (3 times), Vegas (twice), Oregon (multiple times) and the list goes on. if you had used the search button, you would have known that ;)

Shut the hell up or or...ok, never mind. You have more powers than me :1zhelp: Just when you thought you had a friend, this happens :biglaugh: and to think, you wanted to drive my car too :3d_frown:

My car is comfy, just need to put on the soft setting on my coilovers. Yeah it's a little harsh compared to stock but that's what happens when you add a few mods to it.

Can someone please wake this guy up!

Are you going to fly down at least? or will Titan be going?!!

I heard the Vegas meet was for ricers that like to pose in the dragstrip parking lot next to their slow ass cars that will never be lined up at the tree. That is why I go to TX every year instead. :D

Ha! Rich is definitely baller in that motorhome.

Sean - No excuse man. If I have to drive down to O-town and pick your ass up, you need to be there! In the back of my Supra, or in Titan's transport - take your pick ;)

Someone get Jake's ass in here. I want to get a Florida convoy planned to go!

Oh, and Duane, don't worry - I'll bring the street car, slicks in the hatch, A/C blasting the whole way with me to SILV08. If it takes a caged, no amenities, stripped down A70 to beat me, that's not going to say much man ;)

Hell, maybe I'll pull the targa while I race you :D

Don't kid yourself, my car has no PS or A/C but it's still over 3600 pounds aka full weight. ;) I see you are already making excuses too :icon_razz

...at least the ones you can get by payin' all them folks to vote for your car at the S&S.

Here's some SNAP to go with my sour grapes!

Luv'ya, Nickster.

-=S=- & Sarah

ps...2jzGTE's (single or dual) will probably be racing in the MkIV's classes.
