or just get ARZ front kit for 1195. for the complete bolt on package.

unless your gonna get some killer deal on the calipers, pads, rotors, and brackets... i would just go ARZ. they'll probably outlive your car. haha

troof.

spend 700 on evo calipers, 150 so for each rotor, and 200 on brackets, and your at andy's kit.

I'd much rather buy a kit that was designed from the ground up for our Supra's. Plus I know if I had any problems andy would take care of it.

arz has a kit with an e-brake.

or just get yourself some MKIV tt rear brakes and have a machine shop make you some mounting hardware/rotor spacers.

(It cost me under $500, and the e-brake is functional)

Has anybody installed the MKIV TT brake disks with the Night pager kit? I've read that you need to grind something down if you have ABS, can anybody shed any light on this? Was there also a somekind of spacer needed?

I'd like to use the MKIV TT disks because they are cheap at my local dealer, 350Z trac disks I'd have to order from the States.

I have the original Nightpager kit on my car using 350z track rotors and 300zx calipers with Hawk pads, and I have to say it is the BEST MOD I have done to the car. I have not been able to make these fade at all with multiple 200+ kmh to zero stops. For hard street driving and autocross use these are great. I dont know how long they would last on a full road course track but for 95% of the mk3 owners here they are more than adequite. From what I have heard, there is a Brembo caliper that will bolt onto the stock 300zx, so it should work with the Nightpager setup.

I am thinking of replicating the brackets from my car, and doing a GB for the brackets and rotor spacers. How many of you would be interested?

The Mk4TT Discs WON'T physically fit over the ABS hubs no matter what you do, on non ABS hubs you need to machine the Hub 5mm smaller in diameter.

Im looking it to geting them made for about 150.00 a set. Everything would be the same except the over all thickness of the bracket but all the spacing will be the same. How many people would be intrested?

What's up with this now?

Guys, look how pitiful the contact area is:

It looks like the rotor is wearing a yamaka.

The improvement to dollar ratio on this junkyard brake setup is not worth the money.
For about a grand, you get world class brakes.... spend $600 and end up with...brakes that will fade like the stockers

This has been penciled out and discussed at length many times.

I can appreciate wanting to have better brakes, but this isn't the way to do it.

It's a loser.

Hopefully I'm going to install my Night pager along with MKIV discs this week, I just have to get the adapter made for the discs. I'll also get some real world track results so I can compare them to the OEM brake setup.

OK, started to install the MKIV discs today. I knew I had to grind down the lip on the hub on the ABS cover. But I noticed that even with this ground down the MKIV discs wont fit if you have ABS on your car.

I'll take the MKIV discs tomorrow to a machine shop and have them grind 1mm off the discs inside (0.5mm per side) and it should fit snug.

I'll take pictures later so you know what I mean.

I hate to say it but a search would have told you this.

You can't just "grind down" anything as the inside of the Mk4TT rotor is 5mm too small to fit a non abs Mk3 hub (I have them on my car)

A better choice is the 350z Track edition rotor as it will fit over the ABS hubs, I have a set here waiting for me to get time to build a kit for a bud's ABS car.

I actually knew that I would atleast have to grind down the ABS hub part but I didnt know that they wouldnt fit even after that. I wonder what discs come with the Night Pager kit or are the discs already machined to fit?

I would have prolly gotten the MKIV discs in any case because it's very expensive to ship brake discs from the US and the 350Z Track rotors are VERY expensive at the local Nissan dealer. The MKIV TT discs are cheap and I get a 20% discount at the local Toyota. I'll take the discs to a machine shop today and see how much they will charge for the work.. You dont have to machine 5mm with the ABS hub ground down, it's just 1mm. 5mm would compromise the integrity of the disc as the material isnt very thick at that section of the disc..

Krister: DON'T Machine the discs at all :(

I machined 5mm from the Hubs to fit them on my non ABS car and looked at an ABS hub, it can't safely be done.

DBA do the 350 Track rotors at a not bad price in their 4000 series, they should be available there.

Why not? 1mm wont have any affect on the discs integrity. There must be atleast 10mm of material where to machine.

I've already ground down the hub on the ABS hub so I only have to machine 1mm from the disc, that's nothing, it almost fits already.
