Gixxer750 - yes an oil catch can will be needed, I will take that! Fiqure out a value for it so I can add your name to the list on post one!

Jmoney - the design is the hard part, linking the art as a pic and then sending over to a printer is the easy part. If you are willing and able to sketch a picture of a mk3 with the words Supramania.com down the whole side, wheel to wheel. That would be fantastic. I would even use your designs to have t-shirts made. The under dog pic for the hood is ready, but I am having a hard time coming up with a nice look for the side of the car.

This is awsome and something I would think up. It's nice to see that the supramania community is cool enough to actualy have this work. the world just isn't trusting enough for this stuff. Now I'm going to think of stuff I can do to help...I will edit my post later.

A 4gal? I think that would be way too small... I think a 12g would be perfect, that way you could take it on the street from time to time and not worry about stopping every 20 miles, lol...

lol j/k when I get some extra money I'll send it your way.. I dont have any parts that could be usefull I dont think.. mostly stock stuff you all ready have.. when I'm up visiting family in hudson I can always swing by and help if theres naything to be done..

Rich, if you could, make a list of cheaper parts that can be bought (less then $100) that people can buy and donate or donate money too.. probably not too many items that cheap though.. lol..

Its a drag car.. trailered to where it needs to go... 4 gal weighs a bit less, easier to place, and I'm sure fairly cheap..




What kind of engine managment is this going to use? are we going to do something cheap (Megasquirt)? or? I can get some items together for megasquirt and have my brother build the boards (he does that stuff for a living)?

The list of things needed will grow as I get into it. Most smaller items are hard to even think of at the begining. As far as engine management goes, it will really depend on what kind of moeys avaliable and how soon we what it running.

in a pinch i may spend the money on a megasquirt and save for a aem FAST, or motec later. I am not familiar with every EMS that will work well on a 7m and the cost. I sell aem, FAST, and motec so I can get them at my cost, but I know that a megasquirt or a stinger will get her down the track. Basicly it just needs to be tuned for WOT.

Jake - if you show up to tx2k8, they will need a snowplow in hell!!!!

yea, it all depends on funds, which i'm sure is going to be limited..

the plans are to go all out in one hit or build it a little at a time? Like get it running with a decent turbo setup and a stock block or we going big turbo, built block, standalone, built trans, etc right out of the box? I think it would be easier to start off slow.. get it running with some goodies like a smaller 61 mm turbo or something with a nice trans and put down some decent numbers.. it might help the flow of support to see it actually progress unlike a never ending build form the lack of funds... Just an idea.. I know I would be more convincing to help if I could donate x part to get it from a 11.0 to a 10.5 or something you know what I mean? instead of donating x part to something that will eventually be together..

That is bad ass!! Just need to add .com to the end of supramania.

The car is maroon right now, so changing the color to bright red would be easy.
