i love this idea, i was one of the guys talkin it up in the original thread. i figure we have over 5500 members. if we got only 2000 to donate like $10 each, that wont break the bank for anyone. but would get us like $20,000 to build one bad ass engine for this car.:evil2:

Twin ct26s would be interesting, but imo sort of a waste of time and effort.. I think the lag would be fairly bad even on stock ct26s (not terrable, but deff not quick prob in the 4000-4500 range full spool). It would probably make some decent power (400-500 enough for a stock longblock) but the fab work involved would be pretty extensive.. the cost is probably cheaper though.. but how much? I dunno if it'd be worth all the hastle to save a couple hundred $$s, but when money is tight......

I was out in the shop looking under the hood of the car, holding the two turbo's in places to think about the idea. I came to the conclusion that it would be a fab hassle. I was also thinking about if this oil pump would like a second volume hog turbo to feed. So I will look for a used sp61, jt turbo, or t-4 set up to get her started on.

I'll build one. No promises on timeframe or anything, I work 50+ hours a week at work, and we have three racecars at the shop to build right now. It'll be a spare time project. I think I've got a source for a throttle body plate. It will be a long runner and use a q45 TB that I will probably pick up to donate to this project.

That would be great! I posted my address a few times for you to send me the shipping lables, I will send the manifold and remaining lables to gixxer, then he can send you the completed manifold with the remaining lable, then you can send it to me after polishing.

I'm not sure when they're opeing but you can check out www.thompsonracewaypark.com t find out. yes they run 1/4mi. i heard that other racetrack closed.
