yep, Transmission is most definitely 100% fucked haha. It was fine until we started loading it up a bunch to make sure it wouldn't knk. Never did, Loving E85 more and more. 4th gear pulls with 40% load pulls to red line smoked the torque converter or clutches.

I now know the limitations of stock clutches and a lot of load on the dyno :p

my base line on my car at 15 pounds on light shitty woot tune was 485 back when I was on stock block

a gt35 should do about 485 to 520 at about 20 to 24 pounds on pump fuel 94 octain

I am not hateing just wondering why so low ? on e85

He's got a slipping clutchpack or converter giving him lower numbers. Just like a clutch slipping on the dyno gives false(low) readings.

If a transmission/torque converter cannot transfer power to the dyno, can't expect to make power on the graph....

ever try to dyno a auto with slipping torq converter it just wonte even shift or record right. the chart would not look that smooth there would be a dip or heavy flat section

he posted his graph on supra forums

bean there done that........

th350 or some thing els time I guess

Well those stock autos with nothing more then a valve body and cooler pulling those kind of WHP numbers? thats pretty boss, also considering the punishment the old tranny took with all the ct26 runs. Its impressive enough to merit using stock autos with $350 dollars worth of extra stuff. I am looking forward to what my 1jz car can do with just a valve body and cooler to beef up the slushbox.

What i cant fathom is why didnt toyota simply do what devin did to the valve body from the start? its not even expensive parts wise and would cut down on potential tranny failure under warranty....People didnt buy supras for the sole purpose of a satin smooth experience, they were GT cars to go fast, not luxury powder your anus sedans.

You got to understand I've got 22-25% drivetrain loss as well. Im making 560 at the crank on 20lbs with E85... Im thinking thats why your thinking the WHP numbers are low.

It would make 500+WHP at 20lbs with a 5 speed. The turbo isnt even happy until its at 25+ lbs

This was the base line at 13 lbs..

Our dyno is not a dyno jet. It reads like a mustang dyno.

I made 396 before and went 11.5's full weight...

????????

point being...as I said before, you would have flat line or dipped in your graph if the trans was slipping no if and's or butts no matter who makes it, in most case's the bands just can't hold any more thus why they slip and many other factors as well heat ect

your torq band does seam a little flat thou......., but that's kinda comon on an auto some times

oh I have been around the block a few times

and have tried alot of thing's and have scene many things

most car blow up on half throttle on slight hill on the road or on and off gooseing of throttle with slight load when on piggy backs remember the stock ecu is knock limted that that was or biggest issue

and the back pedaling was about he dyno meter reading different about tran's slippage flat spot\dipping ect just because of it's brand

further more mustang dyno\any dyno can make any number you want, you just have to add in correction factor so I am not sure what factor you run or if you just have weather station just hooked up to the unit?

We run in SAE and 1.0 correction factor, yes it changes with barometric pressure and temp.

I'm glad you have tried many things. My brother is the tuner and has tuned 300+ cars. From 800+HP daily driver 2.0's on 52lbs of boost to 14.5:1 NA E85 powered 700WHP V8's I don't think I will have a problem :)
