we got the seats used but they are in great condition with no tears. We decided the pull the motor to clean the engine bay up and to just clean the motor up a bit for the concours part of the competition.

We will not let the supra community down. Pictures will come next week once the cage has arrived and the intercooler kit is here. Please be patient and you will be rewarded.

I CAN'T WAIT. :) best of luck!

I'd like to do this someday....I was thinking of entering LeMons but I don't have money or time for it at the moment...

Do you know how long coverage will take to hit the magazine? I will have to buy that issue...

UPDATE!!!!
The past few days we've been trying to get more and more done when we can. Edwin wired in our kill switch, wired the fuel pump to a switch and added a relay for safety reasons. He also installed the inner and outer tie rods and aligned the car. Avi made the drivers side seat bracket. I (David) tried to get some ideas for mounting the intercooler and making a front bumper bracket as well as helping Edwin with the wiring and driving down to Richmond to pick up the roll cage. I also took the pictures. So here is what we have so far. Also, tomorrow we plan to pull the engine and clean up the engine bay.....update of the past few days....

Lastly, please check out our for sale thread......we really need to do the clutch and timing belt replacement. We are looking for a decent clutch at a good price and are willing to trade parts if need be. Also the stock is for sale and we have a shopping cart full of mk3 stuff we need gone ASAP!! No reasonable offer will be refused.

haha thanks guys...i think the navi will still since we havent been able to find a nice set of gauges yet. Anyway another update. We pulled the motor today and got the engine on an engine stand ready for clean up and a little freshening up. We also got a look at the clutch which is completely done! It was so glazed over and down to the rivets. Here are some pics of us working and the dirty engine bay. Ill get some pics up of the clutch tomorrow, its pretty bad.

Next we are going to replace the clutch, headgasket, main seals, oil pan gasket most likely, other miscellaneous gaskets, and of course we are going to clean the hell out of the engine bay and motor.

Turbo doesn't look that bad actually, just years of PCV buildup... Check the shaft play to be sure, but I'd just clean it up a bit.

yeah surprisingly its not too bad, only minimal shaft play and it spools up perfectly fine. More updates to come. Tonight were going to clean up the engine bay a bit and start to clean the motor and tear it apart.

thats it for now. we have a gasket set, timing belt and tensioner, as well as a water pump on the way. Once everything is hear the motor will be promptly put back together and dropped in. Also the cage should be worked on this weekend and the car needs to be ready for paint by next weekend.

Thanks! yeah, dont know how much time we'll have to get the suspension tweaked but we do plan to do some events after the challenge with the car to really stretch its legs. Have any advice on alignment settings? As of now we have about 1.5* of negative camber up front and about 1.7* in the rear. Toe is all zeroed out to factory specs.

dont worry, the essence of the supra is still there. We love this car just as much as the next guy and the car will retain the factory look minus the wheels and interior mods. Don't know anything about the meet. When is it?

Sounds good for alignment, we couldn't get 1.5 with mine and were limited to 1.1 up front and did 1.5 in rear (had 1.9 in rear before but I liked the feel of this a little better) You've got variable rear toe on these cars, so you could go even lower and still have a little under braking/acceleration.
Do you have the budget/time for decent swaybars? They're a big help in slaloms.
Work looks good, keep it up!

thanks! no, unfortunately i dont think we'll have enough to go with bigger sways. I was thinking about making some endlinks but dont know how much benefit we would get from having adjustable endlinks. also, i pm'ed you with a suspension question.
