So as some of you know my 7m gave up this week. With about 500 miles on a fresh built rebuild. I was breaking in the motor after fixing a boost leak and it popped. Pretty much only 1 person to blame for something like that (the machine shop)

So I am reserching some of my options to get on the road this year....some people already know what tricks I have up my sleeve.....the rest well I'm not lettin the cat outta the bag quite yet....ill post some pics of the damage as I disect the 4th 7m

ok here is part of the promised update. this is my repair of my oil leak,boost leak and the fabrication of the new upper intercooler piping.


heres a pretty good idea of the leak. 500 miles worth of leak

midway

BOOST LEAK (well the majority of the leak the upper IC piping was leaking too)

Almost back together

finished ready to finish breaking in (sorry for the blurry)

removed the hks camshafts to list for sale

empty again ready for the next evolution

s thats where it is now. alot of parts will be for sale soon. i am giving the CT locals first dib on everything. if no one takes it the valvetrain, the built block, and the HKS Camshafts will be in the for sale secrion. ill update when i have something to share:evil2::sarcasm:

If I go 1j or 1.5 jz yes because I will use driftmotions ct manifold kit so I can use my 60 trim to stay single turbo.

well do to stuff stuff in life (yeah reality bites) im stickin with the 7m for now. i got a new head its at the machine shop. the oversized valves and hks camshafts are for sale.

just got word back from the machine shop that the new head is fubar to WTF

not sure what im gonna do now. i am kinda losin motivation its nice out and i dont really want to play cars all summer again

ok so the head is toast and the block has a crack so i am exploreing all of my options right now. pasrt may start to go up for sale soon idk. im not sure if ill stay with the 7m at this point or joint the dark side and swap in a jz motor. thats what i planned on doing when i removed the engine but life threw me a bit of a curve ball and im doing with it what i can.

thanks ive been doin some work on the chassis while i save money for the swap. ive had a bunch of parts layin around and some things thats desperately needed attention, such as i bad ds window motor and a leaking brake master cylinder. some different suspension parts and some other little things.

finished installing the BIG front mount tonight. ill take some pictures later. i think it came out good. i may need to change the brakets to a thicker metal.
