I come from a land down under
It would make 1>2psi at 2200 so not laggy ;)

HUGE midrange hit around 3500 that was really hard to control with the TRAC strategy I used at the time then pulled hard to redline (8300)

Integra08 yeah building after the fiire was a challenge. Took a lot of time and planning if I were to do it all over again I would have soucred another chassis. But I'm picky and midnight blue is my favorite color for mk3s. All in all things are moving along nicely though. F this econmy and me not making as much as last year. Slows a project like this right up.

Jono thanks. I was born out in arizona I miss it

I'm a fool when it comes to chassis swaps, until the frame itself is completely beer canned I'll run the same.

Great build, still amazed from the recovery from the fire

I would of just put the engine, exhaust, gauges, suspension, and electronics in a different car no weird stuff.

Yeah bringing it back from the dead was rewarding....wish the engine lasted longer so I could of enjoyed but the 1.5 jz should be fun :)

That's there for sure....I only drovr the car for about 1100 miles after finishing it. Basically broke the engine in and then went to turn up the boost and tune it and first pull blew coolant into the oil. Upon teardown and inspection (without getting hot) there was a 5 thoudsandth warp in the head. Headgasket was fine...so my only conclusion is shitty machine work

Gaboonvipe85 knows ALL about shitty machine work.

He just had his extra head done (his second, the first was FUBAR) redone. He gave it to a local guy and told him rebuild it and do what's needed. Guy rebuilt everything and decked and afterwards came to him and told him there was a crack near a valve seat.....$700 later it was just a paper weight....

Wow that painful, everything in the engine is ok, the weisco piston, rods, crank, the hks camshafts, frerreara oversized valves and springs, even the bearing rod and main were fine. The prblem is I needed a new head and wasn't about to pay to have it built with the oversized valve and the port and poilish. And I needed a new block because as I wa cleaning it I found a crack. My piston were 20 over so again not paying the machine work. I compared the 2 options rebuilding the 7m, to a 1.5 jz and there going to cost about thesame since I already own a 2j. So I'm really interested to see where it goes...I really just want to drive it :(
