time to throw a little up date up here. i am shying away from the jz swap. i am going to keep the engine as a back up and if the 7m pops maybe ill go that route.

right now i am taking care of an oil leak in the front of the engine. not interested in finding out the soauce just gonna resael the whole front. valve cover gaskets, cam seals, auxilery shaft seal. water pupm, and front main.and im goin to do the water pump since im gonna be in there anyway..flush her and fill her with toyota red.

after that i have been researching a new turbo setup...right now this is what ive come up with...feel free to chime in anyone
gt42
halteck standalone
720cc injectors
sard fuela pressure regulator
manifold
downpipe
a FFIM...not sure which yet
new intercooler 3in piping
bosch 044 pump
-10 feed -8 return
i want to run 20psi and be over 500
(i have the budget for this so if anyone feels i am skimping somewhere speak up)
am i being realistic (the engine is built) most details about the engine in post #1

Yep you may have to drop the base fuel pressure a little to get enough duty cycle at idle and to allow for any compensations in the ecu but yes my idle is strong/stable and I read some tests that people had done and were making more power on larger Injectors at lower duty cycles compared to smaller injectors/bigger duty. (I had no idea of this when I bought mine just wanted something with enough overhead)

Sounds good! Ill change my order tomarrow morning. I did not do enough readin on the size of injectors, and I was worried about running a poor rich idle. Soo 272's and 1000's it is....I'm starting to get giddy I can wait to drive on the new setup
