I used Thermotec on my 1JZ since I have used them before on my 7M.

I would have used the titanium wrap but the problem with that is I could not find the black colored one since white would not look good on my 1JZ since it is polished white purple and black theme.

It itched for a good six hours and my best advice is to wear long sleeves and use gloves. I gave up halfway with the gloves since it made it much harder to feed the wrap through the runners so I just took off the gloves and used my bare hands.

It's worth the itch since it really helps with the heat.

Itchy? wat? I've wrapped 3 or 4 things and haven't been itchy haha maybe it just doesn't effect me as much? who knows.

Anyways,
Are you getting the wrap wet when using it? I mean dripping wet? It is like 1,000,000 times easier to work with when it it wet. Much more flexibility when it is wet and when it dries at tightens up a little more also. :)

Downpipe needs modification to work, so that will be sent out tomorrow for welding, hopefully I'll get it back a little faster than the housing... :p
Manifold will be wrapped, same for DP, turbo blanket will be used all to help keeps temps down!

Sean- Raptor racing used to sell it, I got the last one. :evil2:

Andy- Yeah, yeahI've been meaning to change out the PS feed and the breather lines, I've just been busy driving the car and doing this modding stuff :p It will likely be black nylon braided for both- I am liking the flat black approach so far!

lol @ all the nitpickers :p

2.5 in, 2.75 out. I might be going slightly bigger in the TB, but not sure yet. 75mm sounds like a nice number...
