You need to look at the build up section very carefully. We(supramania) have got some really exceptional looking cars going through some serious rebuilds. Some have finished their build and made 667 rwhp already and broke dyno straps and even ran a 15 second quarter mile....................:biglaugh:

You can spend a whole day in the buildup section and just drool all day long...........

Just in case ya missed it ;)

They are pretty simple actually. They are tabs that are mounted on the intercooler and they sit on the frame rails. I don't have a pic here but if you look close, you will see what I am talking about.

Hey J..I will look at more pics when I get home.

This not a Maxx set-up...it is a Duane set-up ;)

Jake..calling you later

Question here people. I have deleted my ABS right..So I was told and confirmed today that the brake master has a different part number but bolts on the same, has the same res so what is different? The guts? I was wondering if it is ok to leave the one I have on. I haven't had my ABS hooked up (although the lines were still connected) for over 4 years. What are your thoughts?

Thanks
Duane

Duane..I just meant the tabs welded to the side that rest on top of frame rail, maybe to see some pics of a maxx to get the idea.
Also...when I did my paint, my master cyl was crappy looking cast / rust piece, I had another from an ABS I parted out , it was aluminum.

I was just messin with you man :) LOL

So the ABS and NON ABS should work the dame then.. Why the different part numbers then hm..... If it works for you then should be ok then. It does yes? I assume you had a NON ABS before by the way you replied?

AWESOME!!! Duane, I remembered talking to you on the phone like last year and you told me you were planning a new build up with large power goals, and now it looks beautiful.
Once again, I'm reminded why you are one of the 7M Gods LOL :biglaugh:

Yup, mine is original non ABS, and I have no issues with the swap. You can see the diff in my b4 and after pics in my 1st post in the link in my sig, exactly the same other than aluminum. I dont know why ABS would need to be aluminum, and my car is 89, the aluminum one is off pre-89. Weird! If there is a diff Id like to know.

your abs ligh will be on, unless correct wiring is being done to fool the abs computer, or you pull out the abs light in the dash.

my genral knowlege about abs,

when abs is not on, your brakes are normal breaks. when abs light is on, the fluid is hold, dump, , pump (pump on some modles probaly not supra specific,) your foot and break booster apply all the pressure needed to do the breakin job. all the abs does is control the pressure the breaks see to prevent a lock up situation. ..aka hold pressure, dump pressure.

well with out goin to much furthin into how abs works, it uses alot more fluid.. so with that in common knowlege, it's very possible the different part number is for a brake master that has a larger resivor.. and no other change..

LOL I can't seem to find a pic so I will get one this weekend. It is pretty easy to imagine though?

The ABS light goes on then it does something? I will take out ABS light if it does come on. Funny thing is that my ABS has not been hooked up for years so the light would have come on already no?
