That goes without saying!

Thats quite some wiring you've got left! If you need a hand, i'm good with a soldering iron, or crimps, whatever connections you have goin on, i'm good with electronics / wires, and i'm begging for an excuse to see that piece of work in person! :naughty:

Well thanks bud ^^

Well after a couple of days working on the Supra with Ron, we have some new progress. Ron connected a good amount of wiring on the drivers side and the fuse box..I have an idea and am makign some custom brackets for this week.
While Ron was doing wiring, I tackled the nitrous set-up and how it is was going to mount. ALso did the fuel system.

Here are some pics

First picture is to show the custom stainless nitrous and fuel solenoid caps special thanks to my pal Erik :) The wiring for the noids will hide in the frame rail also. I drilled a hole and am putting a grommet there.

Second pic shows the nitrous solenoids (ss caps) mounted to a bracket which is also custom and made by another guy (same shop and guy name Bernie :)) I drilled a hole and then tapped the frame rail (actually Ron did the tapping on this one)

Drilling in to the car to accommodate the intercooler line.

This picture shows where the line will go. Now I just need to pick up a grommet for the hole.

I also did the fuel pump install on the car (new eliminator from Aeromotive)
Maybe I will post pics later of how my pump is installed. It is pretty quite inside and only loud outside.

We also took a break later that day to help Nate install his new AEM igniter which Ron did the wiring for. We were up til 3 in the morning on that one but pizza was good :)

Duane, You had better be in every freaking magazine published when this thing is done. If you're not in Better homes and gardens, I'm gonna be pissed. That's going to represent the MKIII's like no other. I hope the rest goes smooth for you, and keep the pics coming. I swear you've got someone airbrushing these pictures that you're taking....................:biglaugh:

I can't stop droooooling..................

LOL Ok ok.

I HAVE taken the pump off before WITHOUT draining the tank so I tried again. (last time, the car was on a hoist though LOL) I took off the lines and had them ready. all is cool. I had a wrench on the fittings and as hard as I could, I tried to losen them and then BAM! I hit the ground with my hand with fill force. It hurt like heck and my fingers and nuckles are still sore as they were swollen like sausages. Nate laughed after but it was a moment of silence for a min or 2 LOL I was in pain. Long story short, I drained the tank the next day which only took about 15 mins and installed the new pump.

Jake: The Eliminator pump is the same (size wise) but flows 25% more than the A1000. It can handle up to 1100 hp :naughty:

the most beautiful thing about your car (besides it being white :) ) is your attention to the very smallest of details.

Thankyou very much. Details are important to me. :)

Lookin good Big D... Ya gotta show me that pump man...

Pump has bigger A&N fittings and flows more but again the OD DIM is the same.

But here is a pic anyway.

Duane

Getting more pics of the pump install. I mounted it like this a couple of years ago but will show how I did it. All I did was change the pump this time around to a much large one.

None of your fucking business
Here's my version,

Its dark, the car is jacked up but not very high. There wasn't much room to work. He loosened up the fittings and gas is pouring all over the ground, the pan and his hands. I'm waiting for him to remove a fitting so I can swap it on to the new one (I'm laughing at him). The fitting isn't coming of without a fight, he gives it all he's got and the pump strikes back... I felt the concrete shake, it was like he unloaded a overhand right straight down on the concrete. He thought it was quiet, he just couldn't hear me laughing over his cussing :biglaugh: Did I mention there was gas everywhere, then I smoked and laughed some more.

Nate..your funny dude but it was not that bad LOL I had the car the same height when I took the pump off the next day. :icon_razz Want your avatar screwed with I see Tisk tisk...

Pic of pump bar. Custom stainless steel bar that is mounted on the bottom of the sway bar bolts. Also has a custom plate that the pump mounts to. Just need to mount pump with screws to the rubber bushings and the sound is minimum for inside the car. (I can barely hear it) The pump is also mounted this way since the cooling of the pump would be much better.

Duane, you know you can't change his avitar. You don't have the authority to do something like that.............................never mind. I was going to use reverse psychology to get you to change his avitar, but then realized that mine would probably be the one getting messed with..........................:biglaugh:
