I come from a land down under
Would just like to see your approach in detail!

I'm changing over to a front mount and I don't like reinventing the wheel ;)

I may or may not copy yours but either way it will give me ideas!!

LOL I can't seem to find a pic so I will get one this weekend. It is pretty easy to imagine though?

The ABS light goes on then it does something? I will take out ABS light if it does come on. Funny thing is that my ABS has not been hooked up for years so the light would have come on already no?

Duane

the light should have came on.. how did you disconnect it? unplug a wheel sensor or abs tranny sensor?

yeah if the abs light stays on after start up, there is a code stored. and if the abs comes on during stoping situation, then abs was working properly, some makes and modles are different. but thats the genral rule.

I had no wheel sensors on mine. Again they have been like this for a few years and no ABS light? Hmmmm :icon_conf

In any event I guess I will find out when I fire it back up. I don't think anything should change other than the ABS unit itself has been removed. The brake res has a wire also but not sure if that has to do with ABS does it? Or is that wire for the brake to tell if it fails or not?

I didn't get that far yet but I do have something up my sleeve later and unfortunately not until AFTER the car is fired up.

You know I was thinking this exact same thing--What do you do for a living Duane? (sounds sarcastic but I'm actually interested)

Car looks...well for a lack of words AMAZING. You have embodied all of my dreams into one ma71 chassis. I wish you the best of luck in all of the build, and hope nothing goes wrong for you!!!!
