Hey how did you wrap the cluster.Does it just unscrew apart?

I cut a piece that was a little bigger than the clutser, took a heat gun and lightly warmed it up.

Then I pressed it into all the cracks. Cut all the holes out so everything lined up nicely, then took the heat gun and made sure it stuck real good.

Haven't been doing much lately, my knee has been killing me from a motorcycle injury several years ago. Went to the doctor and got a hydrocortozone shot so it should be good for awhile..

Anyway, not much progress other than looking at my parts in my room waiting to be installed..

Lug nuts for the new wheels showed up Monday, still waiting on the hub centric rings which should be here any time today from UPS. Which usually shows up around 7:30 pm :(

im running the rc550cc injectors still. base fuel pressure is 40psi without vacuum.

seems to be doing great, im not sure how much more i can push the 550 injectors though

I need to find out how maft pro (mp) works then. Do you still have any problems with fuel cut, or does mp take care of that completely?

I'm running MAPECU speed density with borg warner 50mm turbo 526cc's @ 43.5psi. MAPECU simply simulates your afm signal. You have to manually enter in the Hz frequencies at many different intervals along the rpm and vac/pressure ranges on the "fuel table". On my car once it hit 2000Hz fuel cut activates. I quickly run into that Hz with these injectors and turbo. In order to keep below 2kHz I'd have to bump up the fuel pressure a lot which isn't reliable. My answer around this to go bigger injectors.

I imagine mp works differently about getting around fuel cut when running speed density.

Ok, I did very little research and see that our ECU's have a frequency out max that will activate fuel cut. No matter which piggyback you use you'll have to work with that fout max to get around FCD.

I'm just surprised that you're not hitting this fout max with your setup. I'm interested in your dyno result, too. Have you ran your car at the dragstrip since your new set up?

not not exactly sure what my fout is set to, but i could find out. while tuning we did hit a "rich" fuel cut, but he quickly tuned that out.
i cant wait to see what this does on the dyno saturday, weather permitting. i think its suppose to be in the high 20's low 30's

i actually havent taken it do the drag strip ever, i still need to get a new set of 16" wheels that have the correct offset.
ive done a couple pulls going on the highway, 2-3, front end of the car lifts up a lot and the rear end squats quite a bit too. still having a little traction problem in 2nd gear, it likes to get sideways!

I purchased a 2003 Chevy Silverado z71 ltz for 1600 from a of mine. Last night I went over to help my gf aunt move, hear a big crunch and walk out to the side of my bed smashed......the lady got charged with hit and run as well as no insurance.

I was also putting together a mk4 supra and noticed something odd.. the turbos are on the wrong side, definitely not scale anymore.

It snowed a little bit this morning, but all melted away by noon. Hopefully there will be no snow, or all melt by the time I put my car on the dyno

That's a steal of a deal on that truck. Too bad some low life tried to pull a hit and run.

I glad I'm not the only one that hits "rich" fuel cut. At first I thought I was crazy that my car was hitting FC running rich, but then found out it is possible. Can't wait for dyno results.

As requested here are some pictures of the new Enkei EVO 8 wheels

These are with 245s in the front and 275s in the rear. I think these wheels are 9" wide, they don't bulge out as much as my old 8" wide wheels

Some good and really bad news.. I got a new battery and alternator installed.. yay.

Bad news. Turbo is probably blown. Started her up, let it idle for a few minutes making sure the voltage on the battery was ok with the new parts.

Pulled out of the driveway and filled my whole street with smoke, dense smoke. Pulled the downpipe and found a lot of oil....great

So I'm going to have it rebuilt again from driftmotion, order a new oem oil pump and do the shim mod, install a little bigger turbo drain line from -10 to -12. I will also weld a port in the oil pain so it drains straight from the turbo to the pan.

Just so you know...
If that stainless fuel line to your rail ever touches that bare contact on you alternator underneath it...
You lose the car.
I almost did. Switched to nylon covered braid and used a rubber terminal cover off a Toyota pickup.
