Some kinda stereo update this..

Bought a Pioneer head-unit and a 2.5KW Amp quite cheap. Had 2 6x9 JBL speakers and a 12" JBL sub from before, so thought to use that. Saw a while back a guy on the forum which had made a bracket for 6x9 speakers in the back, and liked the setup, so made it myself.

Other then that I've put on the sawblades, for use during the winter. I'm also still waiting for the cat-back, aswell as a transparent timing cover and a polished hard alu pipe for the radiator.

I really like what you did with the 6x9's in the rear, and i have seen that once before. I actually think im about to do that to my car, how big was that board when you started?

Looks something like 2 feet long by 4 feet wide, or however you wanna say it. Anyways, i like it, just why didn't you spray it gray instead of black?

Anyways, good work!

Thanks. :) Very happy with the result. The board was 130x30cm when started.

It's wrapped in sky/leather, and I chose black mostly because I'm going to convert the interior to black leather. :)

One last question, where did you run the speaker wire from the 2 you added in? Did you just daisy chain them off the 4" rears that are already in the car? Or did you wire them all the way up to the faceplate.

Did my rear 6" speaker setup like yours, but i didn't do a amp. It actually sounds pretty good for using some cheap 6" speakers and daisy-chaining them off of the other 4" rear speakers. I'd hate to thread-jack but i may get a pic of mine later so you can compare, I used round speakers also incase i wanted to put a third in the center.

.. engine gets quite a bad rod knock. Only option is to make a swap, or fix the old one. As I've already got plans for a GTE, I'll just go with a swap right away.

Engine is picked up! It was 19 hours of driving in total, the trip went down to Denmark. Wallet is quite a bit thinner, but the GTE and R154 is here!

It's missing a harness, but I've got that sorted. Other then that I'm gonna check that the engine is good, and I'm changing HG etc while I'm at it.

The plan for this weekend was to pull out the old engine and change the headgasket, but I didn't get a engine-jack, and chose to wait for the parts before working any more on the new engine. The old engine is ready to be pulled out, just waiting for the jack, which I will get next weekend. On thursday I went by Toyota and picked up a new clutchplate and a headgasket, looks liks I'll have to get a new preasure plate aswell, as the old one(on new transmision) is kinda rusted and worn. I also picked up a stock intercooler and oil cooler at the post office.

Not much more to say.. pictures can do the rest.

About time with another update.. got most of the packages.. still waiting for cat-back from japan, but seems like it's been lost somewhere during the shipping process... getting the money back, so recon I'll buy another new or second hand one.. Other then that I've changed the hg, almost done wiring the alarm, and some other stuff..
