Travis, I want to see his car too. His dad also has one too that's upgraded to the tits including a 383 stroker motor.

David, that's going to be an iffy deal disputing charges with a strip club. They can easily claim you were way over your limit, grabbing titties, throwing up, making out with your best friend, and had a couple of table dances to add to your credit card. Now you're feeling table dance remorse and now you want your money back.

I highly recommend you pay cash for everything in those type of establishments. This happens to people alot. Drunk or not. That stripper probably lied and told the club that you had 5 lap dances to add to the bill. Be carefull and keep an eye on your account daily. If she's willing to cheat you at the club she could have easily wrote down your account number and the magical three digit number on the back of your credit card and kept it. That's all she'd need to run up charges on your credit card.
Hell, I'd even tell USAA to close that account and create another one just incase that's what that bitch did. You better protect yourself and do that.

Usaa should take care of everything I love banking with them. I got a ticket for no insurance on a new car so I called them to get insurance and they rolled it back one day to cover the day I got pulled over
You shouldn't have to cancel your account just order a new card and it will have a different card number

Sounds sick Rufus. We should get some beers and BBQ at your brothers house and invite them but they have to bring the impalas lol

Travis, that's sounds like a good idea. Only Sean (brother's friend) is in the military an is stationed in Abilene, Tx. His C6 is his DD, and the Impala stays down here. I'll have to ask my brother when he's coming down here again. He was here for the 4th of July weekend, and went back home.

David, Innovate WB is a proven tool. Many people have used them and they work good. ISIS AFPR is a new one to me. You can be our guinea pig and let us know how it goes.

This is the one local place I know of
http://www.yellowbot.com/japanese-engine-inc-san-antonio-tx.html
Then there's that place near Denton, TX I think that I lot of people get their motors from.
Or Osaka motors idk where they're based they have a site though with decent reviews.
Or find one on supraforums they're usually cheaper and make a road trip (I wouldn't trust the average person to package and ship a motor the right way)

Are you gonna be rebuilding the motor?

Damn prices have dropped on 2j's! Auto though but nothing an r154 can't fix. Looks like a clean swap on the pic but I think fine print on most of those sites doesn't guarantee that you'll get the motor that's pictured

Yeah, I'm sure its not the same one. but all the reviews on other forums say they are very clean and that they are happy with them. Gonna give them a try.

Sweet! Let us know the condition of the motor when you get it. If it's clean and still that cheap I might just go full 2j instead of 1.5jz in the supra

Hehe, yes, I expected the head gasket to let go, but at least I got the car for a decent price. I've had 3 AE86's and 3 240's before, used to be a Volkswagen and Toyota mechanic here in San Antonio. I posted a wanted ad, looking for a 7m block or even semi-complete engine to rebuild to stick in. I live in an apartment and have a place where I can work on it but cant keep anything there longer than a few days.

Welcome.

I took my car out to run it on the back roads to break the engine in "properly". I filled up the gas tank half full. I was running through the gears accelerating/decelerating like I'm supposed to. Keeping it all on the back roads. I passed by the Sunday hotspot on Culebra and 1604 behind Mamma Margies. My neighbor told me there was a black MKIII just like mine at Valero on the corner looking at my car. I didn't notice cause I was paranoid looking out for cops. It was fun driving my car. Damn I miss it.
