Did anybody else get rain yesterday? It started raining here around 1:40am last night. I lasted almost an hour. I went outside and stood in it for a while. Weather.com is saying we have an 80% chance of rain this afternoon, 30% chance tonight, and 30% tomorrow. We sure as hell need it.

I remember Oregon trail and im only 19. Played it on floppy too. My school was poor and didn't ever upgrade...I wonder if they still play it lol

And yea I was chillin at home and then I heard it start pouring. Nothing gradual. And well...I haven't had time to clean out my garage yet and I got the supra back with a dead battery and an open sunroof... I got soaked! Had to run out there with a tarp and shut it in the doors lol luckily there wasn't too much water in there by the time I got to it

well i would like to say that rufus's car runs pretty damn good, just needs a tune.
i found out today that rufus was the child that touched the do not touch sign. yall should of seen his face when he got in his car and talked me into letting him boost it after i told him i didnt want him to due to no tune.
the car is a bit laggy on the bottom end but then scared me at 4k and full throttle, at 5psi that thing rip pretty hard!

How she running rufus?

She's running. I had to knock the timing down little. Still runs rich, but that's better than running lean. Then again, I really don't know how its running under boost. I need to get a wideband and monitor it. It's only running 5-6psi from what I've seen on my aftermarket boost gauge, but it feels pretty good. I'm going to start picking up some overtime on my job to get the final things done so I can put her on the road legally.

Thanks David. I told you it's a bit laggy. I don't remember it taking this long to spool up. But back then I was on a stock manifold with a 50trim CT26. After some tuning maybe I can pick up some power sooner. I hope.

EDIT: Dammit David, I should have gotten it on vid so I could have shared it with everybody.

So what is the story from the PD on the dillhole who took your car? I am really really glad to hear that you recovered it.

The guy was arrested and I got it back at my place now. I met with my detective today and he told me that the guy had it at some shop. The dad warned the mechanic that his son had been stealing cars and so the mechanic called it in. He's getting charged with unauthorized use of vehicle. He owes me impound fees including the tow home and ill be getting a quote for the items that need to be replaced. Maybe ill throw in the cost to fix the diff too lol

Rufus I would at least give the guys over at Noribilt a call just to see their prices. They are very reasonable. 2 pulls with a dyno sheet (no tune) is 35 or 45 I forget. I wanna say a tune runs about 400, but don't quote me on that. I know its a flat rate though. They're a good group of guys and do very good work.

Yep. He wanted 200 on top of the trade for the civic. The interior needs some serious work but the swap is really clean and solid. Also has a decent new paint job
