Not really. I went to my sons soccer game this morning. Got back home and did some yard work. Ate lunch, and now I jumped in here to see what's going on. Tomorrow I'll get back on it. The only thing I'm really waiting on is this downpipe. It'll get done though.

Hey, when can I get your starter back to you. We'll take a nice drive up there.

No rush on that. My car won't be running any time soon. If you want to drop it off at Darell's when ever you get a chance that will be fine. I go down there all the time. No need in making the long drive.

I just got outta the Marines, so am starting school summer semester woot!! Got sick of Cali and Oregon so decided I wanted to move back to one of my favorite states :D. How much do you guys think is a fair price for a used ddp from BIC? I did some searching and found most ppl were selling for less than 200, which blows my mind cuz those things new form BIC are 400 depending on options.

I have an original BIC divorced downpipe that ill let go for like $100 if your willing to meet halfway. It is painted with high temp paint to prevent rusting. It is the divorced wastegate type rather than the recirculated one. Not sure where your at but im in San Antonio. Let me know

That sounds like a great deal... but I heard the open ddp are SUPER loud, which is what I'm trying to stay away from. Really trying to get my hands on the ddp from bic that is recirculated... If all else fails and I can;t find one, I'll let you know :D

Why not buy his, take it to a welder/fabricator, and see what he'll charge you to recirculate it. He is willing to meet you halway which I think is awesome. I'd bet it'll still be cheaper than paying $200+ shipping (~$36). I've shipped a DP before and that's what it costed me to ship. Just a thought.

This weekend I really tried to get in the garage and tighten up the loose ends. I've got the grinch breathing down my necking everytime I try. I tell you she really doesn't like me being happy. Everything I do to this car is "stupid and a waste of money" she says. Well hell, it's my hobby! Cars is what I'm into. I don't think she likes the fact that I've got more stuff done to my car in the last two weeks than I have done shit in the house in two years. They're never satisfied.

And it doesn't help that we visited my mom's house today and I assembled a bookshelf, and took the time to program her DVR, TV, and cable box to timewarner's universal remote control for her. And took a look at my sister's car because she had a check engine light on that worried her. That made my wife even more pissed.

I don't care. I'm forging foward and gonna finish this car once and for all.

Gotta creep to get stuff done. I can't do that because my wife is so afraid that the car will fall on my and kill me ethat she'll wake up out of her sleep to come check on me. Well at least she still cares about me... just not my car.

Made some good progress tonight. has anyone bought gaskets for their tail lights? If so where did you get them from? I want to get them put in before I put the hatch pieces in.
