Install studs on the block first. Put one washer for each stud on the head. Dab a little bit of assembly lube on the washer and plop it in place in that recessed aread on the head. Drop head through the studs onto the block. Torque in sequence per TSRM. Make several passes in increments until you reach what you're going to torque it to. I went to Lowe's and bought a Kobalt 14mm 12point deep socket. It fit through the head with no issues. That's with the cams off though.
I torqued them down pretty good just using the ratchet in sequence. Then I set the torque wrench to 50lb/ft and did it. Then 60, 70, 80, and finally 85lb/ft. So I did it in increments of 10lb/ft. I hope that was ok.
Oh, and don't forget about putting sealant between the block and the rear timing cover plate.
