Oh, and don't start telling him that there's even a chance I might beat him. He might back out of the race in fear of an older car taking him out.
It does 13.9 in the 1/4. If your clutch holds up you should beat him. 50k, performance package, and it only runs 13.9......? For that price I would go with the srt8 challenger 12.7 in the 1/4, 470 HP 470 torque.

True Mike. But Ralph is also a label hoe. I think he mostly bought it for looks then thought about performance. Its gonna be fun. Rufus i wont tell him about your car too much because he is the type that will make excuses and not race.
Are you guys serious ? G37/370Z's are slow. They might get a jump on you in 1st (off the line) but once you go 2nd and 3rd, they are gone.
That's what we are saying.... But rufus clutch has to hold. Last time he went to the strip he burned up his clutch. It couldn't hold his HP.mensrea;1810696 said:

Test and tune nights are Weds, and Fri. Gates open 6pm-???. $20 to race, and I think $15 to spectate. It could be $10 to spectate, but I'm not sure. I'll have to check the wife schedule to see if she's off that day. I'll let you guys know soon.

Hell no!!!! It's nowhere near ready for the track. One of my first upgrades is a clutch. Mine feels like it slips when i really get on it. I'm afraid i'll do a Rufus.....lol. This summer after some mild upgrades i'll eun for sure.

What are you talking about? Your car is completely stock! It's not like rufus 450 HP monster. Rufus you running 550s? Your HP goes up a 100 every time I reference it. What is your estimate?

She will lurch like she wants to do somethin then drop off while the engine is in a constant rpm range. Even if a ease into it it will seem like it has to 'catch up' to the engine.

I have the exact same problem and my clutch is brand new I don't have a clue what's going on I thought it might be air in the system but I ruled that out after bleeding it

It's gotta be somewhere in the high 200's to the wheels running on 10psi of boost. I like to think it's more than that but without getting the car on the rollers, or getting a clean run at the track I really can't say.
Darrel, I'd really like to run sometime over the weekend. Reason being is just incase my car breaks down I don't have to miss work the next day when trying to get my car back home. I'd like to have the following day off. They have test and tune nights on Friday. There's also Midnight Madness March 10th. That event is only $15 to race, and $10 to spectate. But racing starts at 9pm to 2am. It's a really late event.
Have you guys put enough miles on your clutch? Maybe it needs to be broken in a little longer.
