Deffinetly no corners being cut here. Stupid me wasn't going to get the block decked...then I finally came to my senses and decided to get it done lol
My engine is going to be almost brand new, except for cams and valves :icon_bigg

HAHA! no worries i did that on my first and current supra the first 1 was good and lasted a while but and as well as the current supra but i guess not good enough.

ive learnd from my lessions!! lol

what other mods are you planning on running?

Might get adjustable cam gears, I'd like a 57 trim CT26 or maybe just a completely different turbo, 550 injectors, then I wouldnt mind doing 264 cams

I got the crank and everything out tonight. The one thing I am wondering is... do I have to take out the oil squirters and oil pump drive shaft for the machine shop?

i think you might have to but id call the shop first before you remove it.

Soooo excited for the motor to go back together. But now having these parts it makes me wish I had the money right now to get the block decked and order my bearings :icon_frow

They are NPR pistons. Just stock pistons but they were an awesome price so I got them lol

I got a little work done the last few days...
Got the rings installed on the pistons and rods put back on :icon_bigg

I also got the seats back in which could have been done a long time ago lol

I got some birthday money so now I have the funds to get the block decked and order my bearings :biglaugh:
Once I get that done the motor will be ready to go back together. Just have to order various gaskets, vaccum lines, hoses, etc. Also a clutch and fuel pump then it shall be done!!!

Okay, so the block is being dropped off later today to be machined :-D Then I just gotta order bearings and the motor will go back together!!! YAY!!!



So my big question right now is(this is mainly for people in bc), when all this is done am I going to have tell ICBC that I have done a motor swap to a turbo motor???

Cause I was thinking.. If by some chance I get into an accident after this is done and my insurance papers still say non turbo motor I am basically screwed right??? So do I have to change it and will they even let me????

Just tell icbc its an N/A same as before.....just dont crash or get caught racing hahaha That little lie will save you alomst $50-60 a month in insurance!

it wont matter if its NA :cry: / TURBO :biglaugh:, but the value of you car will be worth more if you go receipts :icon_bigg if anything ever happens. you will still get your Na rate cause your cars regs is NA it wont make a difference on your insurance :icon_big
