It's been a while, but a lot of small stuff has happened. I'm STILL waiting on my motor :nono: , but it should be ready this next week. In the meantime, I've been collecting new goodies & getting the rest of my parts cleaned up. Other than recovering my harnesses, I think my engine bay is ready. Of course, everyone loves pictures, so here they are.

Many thanks to Ron. He's helping me get my car back on the road a little sooner than anticipated.

My Tail BOV arrived today. They are works of art. Also, I paid for a 3" core I/C, but I was sent a 4" core. $161 shipped. :biglaugh:

Hey, good to see you here. You should stop by, I haven't seen you since the spare tire ordeal. :icon_bigg

Looks good. I wish I had the skill and the patience to undertake a project such as this.

Thanks, but so far it's been more funds than skills. :icon_bigg Besides, Jayson doesn't live too far away. :biglaugh:

Well, nothing is set in stone yet, but it's looking more & more like it everyday. :icon_frow With the equity we have in our house, we can build a new (and bigger) house on our property in Tennessee. It's hard to pass that up. I could retire in 10 years......when I'm 45.

On the bright side, I would return to the Tampa area several times a year since I will have family here.

Bought my electric fan today. It's an OEM 1988-1995 Taurus/Sable fan. Two stage motor & moves 4,200 cu ft. :icon_surp Now I just need to find a controller.

The size is very close to the Supra's radiator, but I will more than likely have to trim the shroud a little. I'll throw up some pictures once I get it installed.

dont need a controller. get a 40amp relay, a normally open radiator fan switch from like a celica, and wire it up wit ha 30amp fuse on the fan. easy as pie. why waste money on a controller. relay is like $5 and the switch brand new is about $20 then the wire to hook it up. i hooked my dual contour fans up about a month ago. pics on the cardomain page for the 84. check them out. links in my sig.

That would be cool, I'm an electrical retard. :icon_razz I think these fans are a great deal, $63.95 shipped, as long as I can make it fit correctly. It moves a hell of a lot of air....

Lookin sweet Mark. Few questions, how did you go about painting the engine bay? Did you rent out a paint room or anything? What kind of primer did you use?

I didn't use a primer, I just cleaned the hell out of it, scuffed the orginal paint with a 3M pad & sprayed a very light coat with my sprayer in me garage. I found a few greasy spots (the light coat of paint will help you find them, lol), sanded them out & sprayed them as usual. It's not that hard to do, just time consuming.
