No offense Doc, but the vast majority of parts in the import world are ridiculously priced for what you get.
I'm just trying to bring a central component (the piston) down to a realistic price.
I can't believe 4 cylinder guys pay as much 8 cylinder guys for 1/2 the number of pistons. We 6 cylinder guys pay MORE than either - that's ridiculous!

i totally agree....you're doing a great thing here and hopefully peeps see that and take advantage!

I don't want to commit to anything until I know for sure, which is why I haven't spoken up yet. But, there are probably quite a few people like me who are just waiting for the official GB.
I would love NOT to purchase these, but it's such a great deal that I don't think I'll be able to resist.

When we open the 'official' GB, I'll need to know exactly what sizes you guys are wanting!
If they want 100% up front then I will get 5 sets, if they only want a deposit, then I will take 10

And whenever the creation process begins- how long will it take to get the product out to the people? I'm sitting on a freshly machined block/head, waiting to see if this is going to happen. Sorry for the impatience, but I need to get this motor built in the next 6 weeks or so.

Supraguy, I'm hoping to have a solid model completed and the GB running next week - Once we finalize the design (next week) Shawn is telling me 4-6 weeks before they are complete.
If we actually get the number of sets everyone is saying (which is now well over 40 sets - aka 240 pieces) we'll get pushed up in priority!

Don't worry about sending payment yet, just get the money set aside (400.00 to be safe). It's not an official GB yet, John will let us know when we need to send payment and who to
hmm.. i might pick up a set for the gte sitting in my garage just cause they're so cheap.. lol..
yeah i was waiting until the end of the summer to buy my stuff for my rebuild but at this price i cant pass it up
ok, so after reading through the 173 posts i noticed they are doing only .20 and .40 sizes, and are not doing a stock size, correct? i might be down for a set seing how im going to be aiming for more than 400 in a bit.
As soon as this turns into an official group buy and we get a definant payment date I may be able to do it.
