Well with the general knowledge that people "believe" about automatic cars, their first reaction is already kind of dead.

When starting the car and checking all the gauges, they ask 320,240,432,160 questions about, "What does that thing do?"/ "What do these buttons do"?/ "What do those little screens with buttons do?"

One of the "007 Gadgets" I play with when I have 1st timers ride in my car is my EVC. I'll set it for stock boost so that when I go WOT the first time, it's not all that great...torquey, but nothing special.

Then I'll push the button to set her back up to normal boost (just a tad bit higher than stock ), and I'll do it again, and to their surprise, the most common reaction I get is,

"WHOA, WHERE'S THE NOS?" LOL

And of course, the infamous words,

"Where the hell is the door handle?"
