Man its been a couple of strange weeks.

I go out to my car and see that there is a tow notice on it. I talked to my landlord and they said it would be OK to leave the car without a registered tag in the visitor lot at my apartment.

Well few weeks ago, I have a bright green tow sticker on the car. Apparently police officers go around and check cars to see if they are stolen within a few miles around my university. So as it was, the car had NO front suspension on it, sitting on a steelie under the frame.

So quickly, I put the MK3 suspension back on to roll the car... Worked out something with a buddy, he is letting me keep it at his shop, works for me!

So now that the car is sitting at his shop, I got some more stuff for the car. Very minor, but stuff that is bothering me. Got a bunch of trim panels, armrest, console, glovebox, random trim pieces, etc... Picking up grey door panels for $40 with all electronics... I will dye those to match the blue and for the blue inserts, I picked up the other side at a yard. I will go back for the rest of the parts.

I may grab this W58 for $100 at the local yard. 150K miles.. not sure.. good price but unknown condition.

I will post pics later when I can (3 days left til Thanksgiving break)... but this is how the car sits... Hopefully I will be able to work on it soon... Been getting the SC back together. Too many projects at once!

haha, no doubt. Its very nice of him... But of course he slapped a Proven Power sticker on the car (his shop) and somehow that advance auto magnet thing got on there... lol

I just went back to the yard. Got almost every single interior piece to finish the car. I just need seatbelts for the rear (doh) and a couple misc things.

Also the Supra in the yard had H&R's, I picked up those. The intrax that was on the car are being sold, pm me if you want it.

I know JDM Supras came with 3 point seatbelts back in 86.5, we didn't get them until 1989, but if you remove the rear panels, you can see if your car is pre-threaded for them, and you can use the 3 pointers instead of the pre 89 lap belts..

just read what I said, I meant to CHECK and see if it's threaded, I'm not 100% sure it is, but you never know, there's all kinds of pre-threaded holes that aren't used in the Supra...

There are even ones in the rear, that are a PERFECT fit for a Do-Luck floor bar...

Some recent pics of the car... with all the stuff I got some junkyards and what not...

Picked up some H&R springs for $40, a BUNCH of blue interior parts. Also free tires, threw the H&R's on (damn it lowers the car in the front a lot more than the Intrax did... I like!)

1st time poster on these forums , Thanks for all the great pics and info guys.

I recently got a hold of a 91 N/A and am having some overheating problems ,and was considering doing this same swap. The interior and exterior are in great condition, but i want a little more power and reliability. seems like a 1uz with a (possible m90 supercharger, later tho) is my ticket. I'm saving up as much as I can cause I know it wont be cheap.

I see your in Tampa and YAY im in Brandon. So I was wondering if maybe one day I can goto the shop and you could bestow upon me knowledge, or at least once its up and running actually see it for myself.

dam 99$ for a 1uz? I was considering ebay , but it seems you a know a place I don't. coffer bros, gagel?
