I drove all the fucking way out there to put my arms up and spin in a circle with my clothes off. That's all I did for a flight physical. I want my fucking gas money redeemed dammit.

Easy? I wish. SERE bubbas have some of the toughest training the AF offers. 6 month initial tech school, and then another 52 weeks of ongoing training I've read. I could be wrong, everything I read is weird or outdated.

Well that's the US military lol get use to it. I have heard somethings about sere not a whole lot though, never looked in to it. Well just never had a reason to at least ha, but hey good luck to ya, So why the AF? I mean i guess it's better than the navy and army ha ha ha, unless your in delta or green berets, or a seal team.

Ha that's the truth for sure, staying in a AF barracks is like staying in a 5 star hotel lol. Shit even their barracks/trailers in Iraq and Afghanistan was fucking nice.

So I hear. My dad had a pretty nice tent in Iraq. The quality of life in the AF is better than the rest. Besides, they have the jobs I want. I had EOD as an option, which EOD is the same throughout all the branches so that QOL comes in. Air Force is tasked with SERE and everything personnel recovery, which is what attracted me the most. Saving lives > anything.

lol I know that feeling man, I grew to love baby wipes, and what is hot water? We never had hot water at our camps unless we decided to boil some water let it cool a bit then use it lol. Plus the AF chow halls are the best, even more so in country.

Now that I think about it I think we had hot water off and on in Fallujah.

What MOS were you? 03xx?

I was a 1341/42 heavy equipment and boat mechanic. On deployments though I was basically a grunt, I was with a Recon BN so I got majority of their training, so needless to say my mos didn't really reflect on what I actually did lol, if that makes sense?

that is not just a plug and play harness... that is also $1700 MORE then what I paid for my ecu, harness, and wideband... and my harness is neatly labeled and should be pretty easy to hook up

Makes perfect sense. I hear about lots of support MOS's doing lots of grunt work all the time. I've been hearing the Air Force has been slowly transitioning into a more deployable and fighting force.

That would be interesting to see lol, I mean the only AF personal that I have worked with is EOD and that's it. Which you got to be a pretty big bad ass to walk up to a bomb and disarm it ha.

The MEPS depth perception test is bullshit, and from what I've been reading it's a giant crock of shit. I took the PAST and qualified for EOD but then I found out my depth disqualified me. I was heavily considering EOD. I'm still debating going to a civilian eye doctor just like everyone else does to get it set straight.

Also, PO sprayed shit over the third brake light. How would I get it off? I don't want to go through the process of removing the whole wing to take the LED bar off.
