You know.... you are going to have to post some pics of yourself... showing your left-hand ring finger... or lack of.

I'm pretty sure she has all of her fingers...............:biglaugh:

Multitasking FTW!

My dash is now in the car, and hopefully it won't crack this time. I'll take pictures of it later. It's suppose to rain all day today and tomorrow, so I don't know how good the pictures will be.

It's a little of both Scott. I've had plenty of things wired into the harness and fuse panel. I've got a wiring nightmare that just happens to work for me. It's not as neat as some, but it's all hidden behind closed doors. When I pull the dash though, I disconnect all the plugs and clips and it just makes it look that much scarier.

I got the dash installed and here are a couple pictures. I used the same paint, but somehow it ended up darker. I'm tired of messing with it and I didn't even notice it being darker until I took the pictures. I guess the flash has something to do with it. It's staying like this though.

Jay, are you using a 2jzge or 2jzgte block? Are you transfering your 1JZ oil pump over to the 2JZ? Does anyone know if they are compatible?

I'm using a 2jzgte block with the 2jzge oilpump. The oilpump in the gte block wasn't any good. When I take my 1jz apart, I'll compare the oilpumps and see if they're the same. If they are, I may use my oilpump since I know it works flawlessly.

Thanks Kyle, and a special thanks to Kristel, because she checks in on a regular basis..........

Kool. thanks for the reply Jay and Tis. The 2jzge pump looks a little different because it does not have the hole for the mounting of the Crank position sensor.

I hope they're the same because that's what I planned on using, but I still have my 1jz oil pump if I need it.

I'm suppose to pick my block and head up wednesday afternoon. I'm going to start installing the motor back in my car this weekend. Hopefully I haven't forgotten any parts. I may have to put it in without my transmission hooked to it because I don't have my pressure plate yet, but that's no big deal.

Awesome man. Its confirmed that the 2jzgte and 1jzgte oil pumps are interchangeable. I just found another confirmation from SF FAQs. Thanks for this thread. its a quick check for me :) :biglaugh:
