WOOOOO, I get to feel a 1.5jz with a simalar turbo to mine, I just hope it wont be enough to make me go 1.5.

Damn, I wish my builds could go at the same pace. Well, it will when I bring the car to Slow66, its getting it there that is the problem. If it isn't the snow, my altima is getting fucked (currently overheating and losing coolant, wonder what it could be).

Jay - Did you break this motor in like we discussed?

And did you decide what oil to use after the break-in (a syn I assume)?

You didn't retire the old 7M to the Altima did you????????? Surely we would have seen that build. I've got a 2000 Altima, and an old 7M myself........Hmmm??????

I haven't had a chance to break it in jdub. I thought I'd race it first and break it in later.

Seriously, I haven't had it past three grand yet. It was running flawlessly last night when the alternator decided to call it quits. I'm waiting on Advance to get me one now. Hopefully it will be here tomorrow morning. I called every Advance, Autozone, Oreily's in the state of Alabama, and nobody had one in stock. They're all like "I've never even seen one of those sharp supras around here".........it made me want to stab them through the phone. I haven't taken my medication today.
(I had to order it like it was for a 93 supra)
I plan on running Redline 5W30 in both of our cars. I bought twenty quarts from sumitt so that should last me a few months..............:biglaugh:

Mike, you need to get it to him asap and get it running. Sorry about the bhg on the nissan. I didn't know bhg was contagious, but somehow it caught it from your supra.

Here are some new pictures of my car. I finished the box although I still have to make a lid for the battery box. I'm not a pro-fessional box builder so don't be hatin. I'll clean it up later when the wind isn't blowin thirty miles and hour at fourty degrees.

Here's one with one of my many old targa tops installed.

My car is really nasty, but it will be cleaned up sooner rather than later if given the chance.

I got an extra alt if you want it. Its got 170 k on it though i sure you want a new one.
Sub enclosure looks nice and its pretty cool that the targa still fits in there.

Kristel, you can pinch anything I have.................:biglaugh:

I'm sorry, but I'm just sick like that. I'm glad you like the way it looks. It took me a while to do it and it sounds awesome. I've got to do a little tweaking to it, but over all, I'm happy with it.

Thanks for the alternator offer Red, but I"ve got one coming in tomorrow morning hopefully. If it isn't here then I'm going to go have mine rebuilt. I'll let you know.

Well I started off with enough of both, but now I find myself running out of both. I'm on a very strict deadline to get the car tuned and ready for a road trip, and I had enough to pay for everything, but these bugs I"ve ran into lately has cost me a lot more than anticipated. I've spen more on labor than I thought because of all the electrical problems and we're still working on Vonda's. Her car is really being a pain in the ass. I can't blame it on the 7m though because it's mostly electrical.

I don't have any hobbies other than my cars so that's all I spend any extra money on. I only play golf once a month as of late, and luckily I've ended up winning about a grand playing poker over the last month.

jay you should have ordered the sc300 alternator because it uses the same plug as 1jz/7m.the mkIV supra alt require's the square plug that you'll need to re-wire
