Did you re-locate the main fuse block into the wheel well?

So when are you gonna ditch the stock gt35r exhaust housing/Manifold flange and go V-band?http://www.tialsport.com/prod_tc_tial_d.htm :love:

If I"d known that item existed I would have did it already, but now that I've welded my exhaust and the downpipe to hook up to the existing setup, I'm leaving it like that. It took me almost two days to get all of the exhaust and wastegate dumptube to work together. That's a tight fit in there with the manifold, downpipe and wastegate.

George, thanks for the info and help............I guess if they can fix it, I should be able to. I'd be lieing if I said I was doing the wiring because I'm not. That's what I've got Ricky and Tim for. I do my best just to stay out of there way.

Scott, the FFIM will be through today hopefully and then all I have to do is have it overnight delivered to Pennsylvania for one dog loving non supra running glass blowing Vixen loving individual. Who could that be?:biglaugh:

Mr. Ronius, I relocated the fuse box a while back before I swapped in the 2j block, so I know the wiring problem doesn't involve that.

UPDATE

Tim found the problem. The headlight retractor box was plugged into by the wrong wiring harness. There are two harnessess that look identical. One goes to the rear lights and it was plugged into the hrb. We reversed them and all is good in this world................::w00t::

Here are two pictures of the car as it sits. I feel good about getting it all back together and actually getting to drive it tonight, but only time will tell, I'm taking it one step at a time, I dont' want to put the horse before the cart, I'm not putting all of my eggs into one basket, it's easier said than done, yada yada yada.

The little green box on the left is where the malfunction was and the grey harness under it. They were reversed. They have the exact same plug ins so it was an easy mistake to make. Unfortunately for me, it's cost me about two days of breaking in time with the motor. I'll have to make up for it by driving it more tonight if given the option.

I'm going back out to finish working on the speaker box.

Vonda is more than welcome to drive my car.............when I'm dead and buried. Silly women.

Here is a short video of the car cranking. The oil pressure gauge gets stuck at 40psi because of the white overlays. It happen to do it during this video, but I have a little more than 80psi if I'm not mistaken. Everything seem'd to run smoother than expected. Sorry for the horrible commentating and hillbillie accent, but I come by it honestly.

I'll just wait til you go to sleep and take her for a spin. With the amount of sleep you've lost over the last two weeks worrying about this build, you'll never know.............except for the fact, in the morning you won't be able to fit behind the wheel without pushing the seat back...........:evil2:
