Andre, I posted pictures of the combo on here before I installed them. I will take nice pictures of my car tomorrow if it doesn't rain. I want to clean it up real good tomorrow because it is filthy filthy filthy.

Vonda, if you take my car out for a spin, I'll be forced to tell everyone on here some really hot and juicy secrets about your fine self.........:evil2:

Scott, I'm excited about the progress I made and I'm glad it's almost over with.

UPDATE

The car quit on me coming home tonight. We had to remove the wiring harness from the ignition and replace it with the one from my clip. Now it cranks perfectly, but the alternator isn't charging. We're getting power to the plug in for the alternator, but for some reason it won't work. It worked perfectly before the swap, but I guess cleaning it must have messed something up. I'll have to buy an alternator tomorrow for it. I'm sure that's another two hundred dollars wasted, but it's got to be done.

As for the time I was driving it before it decided to mess up...........WOW!!!!!!
I can't believe how easily it will roast the tires. This new clutch is da bomb, and I love the added horsepower. It reaches full boost at around 3600rpm and before it took it until 4100 rpm.............

Break in period? I don't understand the question.

Kristel, I was kinda doubting the swap until now. It was well worth it.

He was a cheap stunt double I picked up. They're filming that stupid hillbillie wedding show across the street, so I let him narrate for me. He's such a hick.

I've got my first race lined up. This guy named Dennis that works at one our local auto parts store has a new GTO. Once I get my altrenator on today, his ass is grass. I wont be able to video it, but I'll let you know the gruesome details.

I'm going to try and wash it sometime today between rain storms and take some pictures of it. You've all seen it and the engine bay looks the same, but I'm doing it anyways so deal with it...........:biglaugh:

When I was driving it around yesterday at around 2500 rpm, it was running at about 15.5 - 16.5. I'm going to drive it today and add some fuel to it and see how it does. I added 3.8 percent across the board last night. I'm going to drive it and see how that helps. The only problem is I can't get on it right now. I was just kidding about racing the GTO and spinning the tires. I'm not even boosting at all right now. I've got to take it easy for my clutch's sake and the new motor. I'm going to drive it a little while today and come home and change the oil again. Thanks for the concern, but I'm not doing anything stupid to it until it's ready for stupid to be done to it...............:biglaugh:

congrats on getting it done. gotta be the fastest build ever...

That's only half the build. I built my wife's 7mgte at the same time. It cranks and runs good as well, accept for a small coolant leak that I"m going to fix today. I really should get some type of award or something for building two engines in one month and getting both of them running.............although I would definately have to share the award with Tim and Ricky, because they do most of the work.

Good news, I just got a call from Vixen and she is definately going to reward me............:naughty:

Justin, I'm sure it's capable of all of this, but it will be at least a week before I can confirm it personally. With all of the flywheel problems I've had in the past, I'm not taking any chances with this new setup. I'm going to baby it as much as possible during the breakin. I've even lowered my AVCR down to about six pounds in case I boost.

Thanks George.
