I got the car cranked this afternoon. One of the cam sensor wires had come out of the clip. I've still got a few bugs to work out and the most annoying one is everytime I turn the lights on, the horn blows.....................it's really not that funny.

I'll try and make a video of it sometime tonight. See ya.

I see no problem there!! Now if someone pisses you off when driving you can not only honk at them but flash your lights as well.:biglaugh:

I tried to make a video of the car cranking this evening but the solenoid decided to go out on the supra. That's only $150.00 for a new starter..........does the madness never end?

Vonda, I was really wanting to get your car running tomorrow, and I see no problem with getting it done, except for the post you made about it being funny my horn blows when I turn the lights on. I'm really sorry you won't get to drive your car to church sunday, but I find that rather funny................:evil2:

My starter will be in tomorrow morning since they said they could overnight it at Advance, so maybe I'll get to actually weld all of my exhaust tomorrow and give it a cleaning as well. It'll be so good to drive it again.

I went back and checked through the thread and I didn't even pull the motor out until Feb. 02 and I've already got it running. I'm not saying other people that are doing builds are dragging their feet or anything, but maybe if they spent less time on the phone with my wife making her giggle like a school girl, and more time in their shop, they might actually have a supra that runs, and I"m not naming any names...............:biglaugh:

Good luck with the tune Scott. I'm going to call you now and see how it is going, but I'm going out on a limb and say that you won't answer it. I'm hoping you prove me wrong.

I was just thinking about Scott and his tune!! Im hoping for a couple video's today from not only Scott but of one 1.5 running. That is all!!

turbodriz- Jay told me he just wanted to be able to daily drive it at around 500rwhp. He was daily driving in the 4's on the 1J bottom.

Good luck old timer...um...Scott!!! lol

Hey Jay, I don't know if this was address and I refuse to go back and read 34 pages, but are you keep the compression ratio on the block stock for the NA or did you lower it.

<<wonders how that would affect performance :dunno:

I'm using a gte block. I had a ge and a gte. I used the crank, and rods from the ge and installed them into the gte.

No video tonight Ryan, but I did get the exhaust welded up and it sounds pretty good. I didn't hear one exhaust leak.........::w00t::::w00t::::w00t:: (I had to synchronize these with Joey's woot!)

I'm going to play golf tomorrow while Ricky tries to figure out the wiring mess we have. I hope when I come home I can turn my lights on without waking up the neighbors. I couldn't work on it tonight because the horn blows really really loud when you turn the lights on.

I'm hoping to drive it tomorrow night when I get home. (crosses fingers)

Vondas will be ready to crank tomorrow as well. All we have left is the starter wire and filling it up with fluids and checking vacuum lines. It was 35 degrees here today and it took us from 5pm until now which is 10:30pm to get the exhaust welded up and a few bugs worked out. It cranks easier than my 1j did, but it's running lean right now. I've got to hook it up to the laptop and adjust my fuel across the board. Hopefully I can do that tomorrow.

Ok, but if I see no video of 1.5 running goodness tonight I will be forced to use my SM connections and issue one banning for lack of keeping Ryan happy.:biglaugh:

If you have a chance, since you are back to the fusebox, take a picture of how you mounted it under the fender.

I love all your sounds.
