this one 5V-ZFE SUPERCHARGED ... with some "tweeks" should net ~300 HP in this truck ..

the original engine (22R) had 98HP ... with fairly good fuel economy , with the new supercharged engine I should actually see gains in fuel economy !! (foot out of it)

on another note ..
maybe an up dayt on the 2WD ...

it was kicked out of the shop in the fall .. and sadly the tires and wheels were stolen !!! Bastards!!! dropped on the frame to sit for the winter ...

TODAY as a matter of fact .. I bought back my old 15" HUGE rubber .. to make it a "roller" again ... :)

Alright first let me say that I was impressed with both builds and can’t wait for you to get back on the car. The truck looks mean as all get out and seems to run well. Furthermore, I was impressed with your judicious use of masking tape. However, I noticed the stereo equipment you had installed on the vehicle and the big twin sub box and started laughing when you got in the truck and I heard the song playing in the first video. Busted!

Thanks .. and YES I'm an /80's music fan :) (it is my era) .. I thought it was hillarious (after making the vid), as this build has been my passion for 3 years now .. it was not planned , it was just the "tune" playing ..

this one is going in for paint this winter .. and will be bringing the 2WD back in the shop as soon as that happens . ..... I cant wait ..:)

I had an older raised up toyota pickup extended cab (believe it was an 88 but don't remember anymore) one of my favorite vehicles. Yours must be a blast with the new engine. Enjoy and I wouldn't wory about the body work and paint overly as trucks like that are suppose to look like they just rolled out of hell. I would recomend door handles that work though.
