So it's safe to asume that everything has gone well with shipping? Please keep me updated! BTW Spark plugs are Gapped and ready to run!

Yeah seems to be everything is good, I gave the shipping company a window of 8am this morning and noon so I should have it sometime here shortly.

I think I would of had it sooner then this morning if I understood the message the lady gave me and the freight warehouse, o well. I will let you know when it arrives for sure.

Yup it got here early this morning about 9am, everything looks great. I'll have updated pics up later, unfortunantly my camera died after doing the first main seal:3d_frown: so there arn't anymore of the other one and doing the belt, but I will update this thread later on tonight.

It looks smaller in the pic then it really is, mine measures 25" if you want to give yours a measure to compare.

Sorry I haven't updated in the past couple days it's been a busy weekend, I have a couple more pics but unfortunately my camera died in the middle of everything.

Well after getting it bright an early Friday, me and Adam(boostedmkiii) took it to my work to get it ready to go into the car.

The 1JZ stamp on the block..
p918241_4.jpg

While it was still hanging on the hoist I figured it would be easier to get the rear main seal out and replaced then doing it on the stand.

Old clutch out..

Then the flywheel that's going to need to be resurfaced..
p918241_6.jpg

Revealing the rear main seal..
p918241_7.jpg

p918241_8.jpg

Tapped the old one out with just a hammer and 1/4" extension..
p918241_9.jpg

Cleaned everything up while I was in there and put the new one in, don't forget to use some dielectric grease or it'll make a horrible noise...
p918241_10.jpg

p918241_11.jpg

So we finished the rear main seal and put the motor on the stand, got the serp. belt off and the ac compressor and the camera died..

We didn't want to make another trip to get batteries since we had just gotten back with bolts for the engine stand, so we just finished the front main seal and timing belt. We would of had the serp. belt done with no a/c but the part number I found on this forum was wrong so I'm going to need to try and figure out what the real part number is for the belt with no a/c.

The belt I use for 1JZ with no AC Compressor is Napa Part 25-060747.

Checkers/Shucks/Kragen or any other parts house should be able to cross reference. Pay close attention to the routing of the belt. I bought 4 different belts only to end up with the one I started with because I was routing it incorrectly.:nono:

Ironically that's exactly what I was thinking when I was just looking at the pics I posted. That's the belt I ordered and after thinking of how I was routing the new belt versus how the old one looks in the pic I believe I was routing it wrong. I was routing the new one from the alt. under the crank pulley and not over the tensioner first. I'm gonna give the correct routing a shot tomorrow and I'm sure it'll work out considering thats the belt I got from NAPA.

where did you get your 1j from?

Jose(Soapra) from kaizen motorsports on here is where I got it from since he luckily had one and it was posted on the forums. But before I saw his listing I was going through Jarco.
