So Moe, When was the last Fox Body you owned? From my lurking days i just remember you having the black 7M, that i haven't seen in a while (I guess he stoped going to ARC). ;)

I had a turbo charged 89 mustang hatchback. I had Supras before that and after that as well as while owning the mustang. Hence my "forum name" lol
I loved the 89 Hatch as it was a fun car. That was my first major swap involving wiring and stuff. By the time I was done, I had virtually memorized all the harness wire colors and functions...lol
I still love Mustangs, but the Cobras, the S351 and other high end ones. GTs don't cut it for me anymore. :)

Ditto, when i drove a 03 i almost bought it, but the interior is too shitty. ;)
Never seen a S351 in real life.....

Looking Good, Can't wait till i get finished; School is taking up hella time right now. I should have thrown a 2JZ in my supra. :3d_frown:

Any tips/products i should use to clean/polish my engine bay?

Yeah...should have 2jzeeed it :) . Engine bay - I usually use Simle green and some good ole fashion hand scrubbing. You have too hand scrub to get crap out. I used a high pressure washer and it helped but not much.
I susually use a good quality cleaner wax to get top grime off - like Mothers and then shine it up...nothing special :)

Im hoping to be at the first meet with my car and before that, make it out to Sac as that is how I test my swaps: lol

Hopefully I get to drive it on the dtreet this weekend ...yeeeeaahhh...
More pictures/videos coming tomorrow...this engine is healthy and quiet with the exhaust on..

Thanks Keith.....

Well did a bit more cleanup in the engine bay.Put the looms back on and routed everything properly.
Hard wired the fuel pump to M-Relay signal using factory plug - no more fuel pump resisitor / relay now.
Changed all power steering and hydrofan hoses to correct size hoses to eliminate some leaks.

2 problems I found so far -
> Small water leak from beind rear turbo :(
> Oil return line near the oil pan had a slit ( temporarily repaired it )

Still need a throttle cable. Picked one up from a 87 Camry but its a few inches short so kept the damn throttle open :( . Otherwise I would have driven the car today .

After plugging all vacum holes, the car idles so much lower and quieter now. Still need to finish the IC hoses and mounting the IC...but that can be done this coming week after work.

Here is another video I took after some cleanup and also took some of the car and interior. Its still dirty from sitting .... its getting there...
I had to add music to remove the lawn mower and my neighbours kids voices lol.

Dang..bought the wrong Camry cable - hahaha lol

need one of these. Posting here just in case anyone else needs to know :

92-95 camry 4cylinder, cable from pedal to black box in the engine bay(not the one from black box to throttle body).

88-92 4 door corolla.

Well, I made it to the junkyard today with 15 minutes left to close.. lol.
Grabbed a 90 Corolla's throttle cable and it works . A tad bit short, but I think the 92-95 Camry one will work better. Will exchange it though. At least it gave me a chance to drive the car around the block and see how it feels...and it t feels great. It is so friggin smooth and car feels light. None of the IC hoses are on though..but I couldn't wait to drive.. lol.

Here aresome pictures I took after hosing the crap off...

yeah man, it was a blast. NO IC and intake plumbing with the turbo spooling was definitely a head turner lol . But good thing everything looks okay for now. ( no leaks wise )
It shold be ready in one more week....

87soup - Those are 17 x 9.5 rears and 17x8 fronts.

Yes there is a bart station on Tennyson...but its a few blocks from my place. The day laborers standing on East tennyson will mug you if you take a walk there lol.
