Found out about these for a while, but never really put any interest to them. I

think its a nice option compared to the Lipp brushed/mirror cooling panels. Don't

Know if its still available or not. What you guys think?

Duane was making them for a wile, but not any more or any other carbon fiber parts . Other then him I have not seen another company making them. Maybe PM Jaguar about them, I know he is starting to get some CF parts made.

I'v not seen these for distribution anywhere. I thought of borrowing Suprahero's Lipp as a template and making my own out of red CF. This peice serves both form and function. If anyone has them in CF, raise your hand.

Yes, he is no longer making parts. Again the owner of CBFX is/was Duane (upgradedsupra.). Maybe I can post it one more time:biglaugh:

Im lost..... But I think I got it. Are you saying he is or he is not making the part anymore. If he is still asleep, lets wake him up and ask him...... We need this part. And this one would be pretty simple to make I would think.
How hard could it be?

carbonfiberfx is out of business, not making parts any more. The owner of CBFX is/was Duane, a regular SM member, upgradedsupra.

A few of his parts will show up from time to time again in the F/S section, but be ready to open up your wallet. His parts are A++ and the price reflects it.

Hell.... Anything I do to the Supra rapes my wallett so I am used to it. Sometimes I think it would be cheaper to be modding an M5 or something of the like.....
Naaaaa, mod money to the suppie is money well spent.
Maybe one will pop up sooner or later.

The ones I have shown are from Aerokits.net They changed their old website

or are under construction with their new website and all their parts may not

show up. So, dunno if they still make em'. I think they should have the

template to do em' again if they wanted?

Lipp ones are nice, but the CF ones match engine bay :)

I agree.. I have access to a template of the LIPP. After cutting, you wouud have to sand and re-epoxy the edges. It would be pretty easy in my opinion. I just wonder how well a "group buy" would go over??

The CF sheets are not cheap that is for sure.

Well, it depends on the weave and weight of the CF, but it shouldn't cost TOO much.

I was given a CF one for a celica once and it wasn't much thicker than a sheet of posterboard. I'm not sure how well it would have worked (don't own a celica), but it was pretty flimsy.
