The panel just rests there. It isn't going to go anywhere.
Its supposed to divert air flow and you think it will just sit there? you bet it'll rattle around while driving. Some double sided tape on the underside in key locations would work well

CF is clearcoated like paint, so if paint scratches so will CF. Personally I wouldn't use it as a tool holder, if it were rubberized then yeah (or plastic like the ones Lexus SC's have).

It looks like a nice place for stickers, though..

I've never had any Carbon Fiber. If we use it as a tool catcher, is it going to scratch easy?
Yes it will

No, carbon fiber IS NOT clear coated. And this is the HUGE misconception amongst people. Just because it looks clear and glossy doesnt mean it has clear coat on it. The glossy finish of carbon fiber is polished resin. Carbon gets hardened with resin, then when taked out of the mold the resin surface is finely polised until it reflects as though its clear coated. Thats why you see oxided looking carbon hoods. Because people think they're clear coated and dont protect the hood from the elements which causes it to fade sooner. If it were truly clear coated it would take years and years of abuse for it to even start fading just like car paint.

Anyways, good news, SCHAEFF APPROVED
