I really need to dig my CFX plate out of the garage and put it up for sale.

How dose this sound I will send you 10 bucks and you can ship it to me and I can store it for you in my garage. That way it is not taking up any space in your garage. Then just let me know when you want it back :naughty::naughty:

That's not available for the MKIII, that Chaser part you showed is the MKIV plate.

I'm a direct Chaser dealer so I have all their kits and carbon available, but no carbon MKIII hoods. They do make a "drift" style hood that I have on my own car.

The LIPP version is SEXY! The mirror finish is incredible. I currently have both CFX and LIPP versions. Will be selling the CFX version.

Actually... I just ran out to the garage and found it. Still in the original shipping box from CFX - only took it out to look at it.

Original price was $130 + shipping. I'll let it go for $75 + shipping. First PM will get first chance to PayPal (If no PayPal in 24 hours then I move on to the next PM).

I guess it is time to put this up in the for sale section.

YOu guys know this piece doesnt actually DO anything with the OEM hood right?

The hood has a rubber seal that prevents the air from going up and over anyways. Now in someone's case like ME who has a fiberglass vented hood, this would now be something I need since the fiberglass hood fits differently and doesnt have this seal.... but i'm not buying ;)

That's interesting, I thought that the purpose of the plate was to stop the air from going up and over. More to direct it into the IC, AC and radiator, working more like an air box than an open space. I thought that by using one along with the Bomex front bumper or a Turbo A Duct and the Regulus header panel the air flow would be more concentrated or directed thru the coolers.

Grimsta is sort of correct. This panel does NOT impact air movement. It does make the engine bay look better by hiding a bunch of stuff you don't need to see when your hood is open.

PAID IN FULL - Thanks Keith.

I realize this part is more about form than function. If I install it and done like the way it looks I can always remove it.... but I think I will like it just fine. Plus, it is a cool rare part. I may use it as a template to make a batch for a "group buy" in the future also.

Nice place to rest tools as well ;)

Fred: The Hood seals that area.
