I realize this part is more about form than function. If I install it and done like the way it looks I can always remove it.... but I think I will like it just fine. Plus, it is a cool rare part. I may use it as a template to make a batch for a "group buy" in the future also.

That's not available for the MKIII, that Chaser part you showed is the MKIV plate.

I'm a direct Chaser dealer so I have all their kits and carbon available, but no carbon MKIII hoods. They do make a "drift" style hood that I have on my own car.

Well the article is wrong, like I said, I'm a Chaser dealer, there is no carbon panel for the MKIII, that is the MKIV panel

Where could someone get carbon fiber sheets to make one, I have the lipp version, but looks easy enough to trace, the hard part would be cutting the CF

I been meaning to do the same thing recently. I need one because of my FRP hood now. Measure the length and the width of the LIPP piece and I may have some carbon sheets that size available
