answered your PM on full throttle

how is the solenoid hooked up. A solenoid that is plumbed backwards reactls a lot like what you described.

ok, i'm lovin everything i've read about the maft pro and i'm bout to buy one. i'm wondering with all the things that the maft pro does. at what point would i need a lil extra fuel control (i.e. apexi neo/ emanage and so on).

There have been tunerpro issues, that have been solved 98% I think. Mike Malloys issues relate to the wiring, not the pro.

Version 4.63, 4.65, 4.67 are all posted, and run fine, the response stuff is a lot better in the new stuff, and there is a second VE table in there (selectable from the settings page) for cars with stock (high idle vacuum) cams (like my Stealth).

The revision to Tunerpro is almost done. We are working on the log review/replay functions right now.

i was wondering if someone can chime in on this for me. i have the car running with the maftpro i have some idle studder and my air fuel ratio sweeps from 14ish to 16ish but it does hold at 14ish for several secs then leans out a bit then goes back to the 14 range. anyways i checked my monitor page on the maftpro and the o2 signal reads 2.4v - 2.6v but i checked the aux 1 signal and it reads 0.01 range when the car idling. i read someplace on supramania (if i remember correctly) that the aux 1 signal should be reading the vf signal so if thats true my vf signal is not where it should be. i have the purple wire tapped in the vf signal wire on the engine harness. im running version 4.63 if that helps. i searched aux 1 on this thread and nothing came up.

"sweeping" @ idle is normal as idle is closed loop....albeit slower than cruise.

as always, mkiiitech.com has your answer:

MAFT pro wiring:

Vf logging info on p.3:
Vf logging:
-set Aux1 mode to 0
-connect purple wire to Vf

I have read quite a bit on setting up the boost with the Maft Pro but I am not getting the right results... I'm sure that I don't have the right config.
Can someone tell me what the settings should be??

I want to run 14psi on stock turbo.. What should my settings be?
PSI start, DC etc... I am using 4.63..

I did. I changed a few things like he mentioned and got it increased but still have it die out. I think the DC is the cause..

I wanted to compare what someone has already accomplished (a different way) to what he wrote in that post..

Thanks,

Behind the keyboard...
FINALLY, i've read all 18 pages (yes a mere 18 here ;)) and i still have a car specific question. I'm in the proces of getting my 88T up and running. Other then my RC550's, SP61GT@9psi and a 3 - 3.5" DP (approx ;)) my car/engine is stock (yes a stock non metal HG too). I have a Lexus AFM but it's not installed yet. Engine isn't even running yet.

Now i've been told before to get a Walbro, FPR of some kind and SAFC. Now i just hate the flashy looks of the HKS stuff since i think it doesn't mix with the supra's interior.

Anyway, my question. I will purchase a Walbro pump and a MAF-T Pro with boostcontrol and Wideband going for a speed density setup. But do i still have to get a FPR or would that be redundant ? I'm sure i will be upping the boostpressure to about 15 or so but not anytime soon (need to break it in first).

Any insight ? Need to get my shopping list complete ;)
