Not completely sure yet. I would like to say yes, but without logs I won't know for sure. I have to check and make sure Micah hooked up the lines to the BOV as I told him (Synapse BOV, has 3 vacuum/boost nipples), I am getting quite a bit of part throttle surge around 4k rpm and up. WOT is fine though. I'll be looking into it tonight.

On another note, getting stuck kinda fucked up some of the coating on my o2 housing. When the coating is fresh, the instructions said to let the engine run for 15 min, cool down, run for 30 min, cool down, then let 'er buck. Well, I figured I would just take it easy on the way home and it would be fine. Then I got stuck and was revving the shit out of the motor undoubtedly baking the coating right off the turbo outlet pipe we had just installed :(

The reason they say to do the 15-30 method is because their oven does not get hot enough to fully cure the coatings. Oh well, some of the coating is still there haha

Here is the latest photo. Sean has been sanding and buffing and I have some as well. The manifold is bolted on. Tomorrow the throttle cable, intercooler pipes, and fuse box stuff get done. We are expecting more snow tonight. I hope this is the last batch for the season.

With luck and as much cash as this has cost me, I should be running low 8's :aigo: Realisticly, I should be low 11s or high 10s. I just hope we can keep her together with out breaking anything. I have concerns about clutch and the fact we had to put new crank and rod bearings in her last year. If she takes a crap on me, I am building engine.

What kind of power are you looking for Dan? I ruined two act 6 pucks last year on 402whp :( I'm not very nice to clutches though lol.... Car looks great! :)

Well, he was at 550 last year, and hoping for more this year D:

He's likely to copy me with a Spec super twin or be a total baller with a tilton or OS Giken T_T

Steve is correct. I had 550 at 21 lbs of boost an then she developed a knock while on the dyno. We stopped, pulled engine. Had crank checked, put all new acl bearings, but never took her back to complete the tune. Now with new manifold and hopefully a healthy engine, the 67's are know to put down 750+ h/p. Some have made 825 rwhp on similar set ups.
And yes Steve, if I do it I will probably got with an RPS carbon. I kind of like what I read about them now that they have fixed the problem they were know for. Sean told me, start saving for a clutch.

They are supposed to have fixed the strap issue and hold like crazy but smooth engagement. I just hope the 6 puck will last the summer. I am going to get one of those 2 setting manual boost controllers. One setting on 24-25 lbs. The other on 30. Just of those days when you need that extra 100+ h/p.

More progress. Sean mounted the Q45 throttle body, hooked up vacuum hoses to the intake manifold. We also have been playing with the radiator shroud. I thought we had enough room but didn't. After bending the side lip of the Moshimoto it looks like we will have enough clearance for the shroud. Tonight we checked the tranny fluid level and swapped in Sean's custom under tranny bracket. Solid now under there. I still have some concerns about a minor leak, but the fluid level was normal. Lastly we bolted on the lower intercooler t-clamps. With the custom hard pipes, we should not have boost leak issues this year. Now we are just waiting for a small piece to hook on the custom power steering reservoir, vacuum lines, bleed the brake lines and should be ready for a tune. PICs tomorrow night. Also need to do a bit of under coating where the coating burned away when the cage was installed. We are close finally. Can't wait to take her for a spin.

Yes, I got the notification from UPS that the connector for the power steering will be in today along with a block off for one of the Aeromotive Fuel pressure regulator ports and a new fuel filter. Now if Sean will get out and finish it off. With some luck, we should be able to fire her up and then call DB for a tune date.

I will be very interested to see how much of a difference that qsv makes on the 67, Dan. I got my new manifold machined and hoping for the exhaust housing to be done soon so I can bolt all that stuff up! I lost 1000rpm of spool goin to this 67 so I hope I can get some back with the manifold and such!

Oh yeah...pics NAOW!!

Steve if I remember correctly, with the spool valve we had about a 5-600 rpm difference on spool up. I wasn't convinced that Sean and Shane had it hooked up correctly though, it seemed sticky. This year it really moves easily with our newest set up and so when we dyno, I do plan on at least one pull with it open, just to see how much of a difference there is.
