TurboWarrior Uhhh we dont know what my spoiler is... Its not a stocker for sure. The mounting points are all off. I like it psersonally but I want an 89 style wing. Anyone wanna trade lol
I have a question tho... Now when I asked Chris if he had a master cylinder, I unno if he thought i ment the cylinger and brake booster or what... But whats the probability that the booster should be replaced as well?
Also whats the best way to get the brake hardlines out of the cylinder without me possibly breaking them lol
You paint em dorifto orange or are they naturally that color.. Im very interested Matt. When we meet up at altimont will you be in the 240? I wanna see em
Oh not those. Those are my crappy Mustang Cobra wheels. Those are for sale too though. I mean my MB motoring wheels, I painted them black. Here is a photo:
Cool. Yeah I am taking the S14 out to Altamont, its a long walk otherwise. So we can do a test fit then. 235/40 Cooper Zeon 2XS all around. The wheels are not too heavy. Not bad for cheapo wheels, and the spokes have a little of that concave curve that is so sexy.
We will make them fit! A heat gun and a hammer is all it will take to make your fenders comply. Easy stuff.
Hell yes! lol. Im not to worried about tires.... What kind of condition are they in?? I was planing on replacing my sawblade tires and get them alligned(finally) but if Im gonna get new rimmz maybe Ill replace the rubber on them. I unno. Im excited yo!
My brake booster crapped out on me. That wasn't too fun of an experience, lol. I had the hardest time trying to figure out why the hell the engine kept dying when I pressed the brakes.
And to get the lines off the cylinder, just unscrew them and put some sandwhich bags on the ends and tape the bags to the lines. Keeps brake fluid off the paint.
Nah, I wouldn't replace it unless you notice the idle screw up when the brakes are pushed. But it's not too complicated either, just pull out a pin behind the brake pedal to disconnect the booster from the pedal. Then unscrew a few bolts, disconnect the vacuum hose and it pulls out.
And for the brake hardlines, yeah after you unscrew them they pull out.
The two front tires are very new and the two rears only have a few thousand on them. My toe is at zero front and back so very little wear aside from normal use and my 3 degrees camber in the rear. You will love these tires, they are so kickass.
Dunno if you want to get rid of those sawblades, but I will need something cheap to replace the MBs. Maybe we can work out a trade. If not, no worries. I can run my orange pair + my white pair until I find some 5 lug steelies. How crazy would that look? haha so ugly.
Hah I was gonna keep my saws for burnout tires. But if you want them i cant stop you. I can always get some saws from the junkyard for nothing... or Chriso... lol.
