so the guy just called me after i left him a nasty voicemail.

turns out hes on the way to the post office with my manifold in his car. supossedly hes shipping it out next day air, within the hour. it should be here tomorrow.

i should be gettin an e-mail from him in a couple hrs showing proof that it was sent next day air.

so i reeeeeally hope i get it tomorrow *crosses fingers*

oh and JP_drift_showoff FTMFL dont ever buy anthing from that ebay seller.

well it didnt show up today, so far all the trackin shows is it's left dulles, VA a little past 8am this morning. post office doesnt know where it is, or why it even went to VA in the first place.

i got the receipt from the seller, he ended up spending $90 to overnight it to me, but the post office fucked up now... i told them to hold it @ the 1st place it shows up, whether it be boston, providence, or brockton and i'll pick it up myself. im sick of this bullshit. the

so whaddya think guys, the 1st one gets lost in the mail and the 2nd one is already late and i have no clue where it is... bad omen?


oh and believe me, pics will DEFF come when it comes in. i can rarely find any good pics of the ebay manis, so i'll supply em.


oldsking: got the DP from supraman502 here on SM, he sold it off his car. i plan to put that dump to good use @ some track days. :evil2:

well picked up the mani this morning, prolly took me about 5 hours to finish completly but i alread had everything removed from the car.

i love it!!! the boost does come on kinda slow, but i prolly just gotta get used to it. its set about 8psi now. i had to jury rig some of the stock IC piping to get it to work, after blowing off a hose, and breaking the plastic angle piece near the fender. now it runs smoothly.
the sound is soooo much different too, ill get a sound clip tonite.

thanks, it did take a lil bit of grinding and some light hammer work to get the turbo to clear the mani since i didnt have a riser, but it did fit good. the damn stamp on the mani caught on the oil filter housing so that came off.

the wastegate does work pretty good, im happy with it. my BC wont bring the boost up for some reason, im gonna see if i can try my buddys EBC next week.

maybe you have a boost leak.
didn't get the ddp mounted yet,waiting on my nephew

if your boosting lower then the wastegate spring ,there is a boost leak before the intake manifold.your gauge is reading 8psi,but the turbo is most likely spinning alot faster.

i dont think thats the issue, it used to boost up to 16-17psi right when i put it on, then i noticed the vac line for the boost controller was gettin pinched. fixed it, now it boosts 8-9 psi.

i will double check on tuesday since im away from the car till then

Why you runnin such low boost on that turbo?

it wont go up lol. i've only been able to drive it for a couple hours. right now its tuned perfectly for 8psi 11.5 afrs across the board. im in maine now, once i get back tomorrow im gonna try turning the boost up to 13-14 and see how it pulls.
