Sounds good. Mich is known for quallity. And under 200 bucks. wadda bargain.

I went out a while back and bought a black jack brand floor jack with 3 ton capacity for under 80 bucks. Lifts the soup up like it's a mosquito.

You hafta love that $hit. Those little 2 ton jacks scare me to death having to crawl underneath it. You can see that thing sway in the breeze. The jack that came with mine was a bloody JOKE.

I don't know what they were thinking on that one. I wouldn't use the stock jack on anything bigger than a vw bug. I don't think it would help to even change a flat. Oh well. 2 different cultures. 2 different ways of thinking.

Definitely want to see those pics. I may have to buy 1. I think my next ride is going to be an old chevy so I can just get a crate engine and tranny.

Something like a supercharged LS1.

well for the arp head bolts i thought it was 75 ft/lb but i was thinking it was for a normal head gasket...so i'm gonna bump it up to 77 or so just to be sure:]

it would make things alot easier if you just took the hood off. just remember to mark it before you take it off.

yeah....but I'm not gonna follow the crowd;]...i did a lot of things different...i didn't disconnect the power steering pump line and all those goodies hooked to it...i just disconnected it from the engine and bungee corded it to the side of the car......i didn't take off the drive shaft it stayed still...the exhaust manifold was just pushed to the side of the car and also had a bungee holding it there....lol...i know it would be easier, though it would just be something else i would had to put back together later...lol

I took my hood off but I knew I was in no hurry. There really isn't a reason to mark the hood. You put it on and close and figure how far one way or the other and loosen and tighten and you're good.
