Oh got a prob...the car runs normally but after driving it around i smelt something getting out of the car....and i popped the hood...the alternator, where the positive screws onto it, the plastic piece was smoking and started to burn....no fire but the alt was hot as F*ck....The Idiot light for battery/alternator was on and it would flux between 12 to 13 volts.......i thought it was shorting out on the inside, so i replaced the alt and the battery, which was dead and not holding a charge(I thought the alt could have been working over time to try to charge the battery...).....i drove it after the change but it Didn't get scalding hot as the other one did....it just got a little warm/slightly hot....i was thinking that the engine could be running a little warm....Should i use a thermostat?...cause i put one in there...even though it came without one....Also should i upgrade radiator? At least to a aluminum replacement...cause i know mine was the original...and kinda rusty on the inside........Any ideas?
