here's is a pic of the suspension part's i'm getting ready to install.i have the a-1 toe, camber, and traction arm's.i also have RK subframe and upper a-arm bushing's to help tighten up the rear.
p627044_1.jpg

powder coated the lower a-arm's and added some rk bushing's.whiteline sway's in the mix too

sm_photo_missing.jpg

the intake plenum, fuel rail, harness, and tb are back on.i ended up cutting the traction control parts of the tb.i had it all welded up and smoothed it out the best i can.it would look a little better with a couple of more passes with the tig,oh well.

i got a little ambition to play with my car even though fund's are low.my sister bought me a heater for my garage for christmas,so it's a little better in there.i started putting my engine bay back together, but still need a new rack & pinion before the motor drop in.i'm also waiting on my spec clutch from titan,so motor and tran's can drop together.here's where the 2j will sit
p942545_1.jpg

i also powder coated the hub carrier's.you can see the pit's on the backing plate's how rusty these part's were

you can see my rear backing plate's don't have dust sheild's.this is because i'm going to be using mkIV rotor's and caliper's out back.i'm going to be using the mkIV hubs also.here is a pic of the mkIV hub's on the side of the mkIII.the rusty one's are mkIII.

Heh, so I guess I'm not the only one using MKIV hubs. I haven't installed them yet but I picked them up because I figured that'd be the easiest way to get the rotors hubcentric when I swap to the MKIV rear calipers/rotors.

Car is looking good BTW.

i tried the mkIII axle's in the mkIV hub and relized the spline's were the same.then i pressed the mkIV hub out of there carrier and did some measuring.i haven't pressed mine in yet either, still need to order the bearing's.i did buy jake's kit to use the mkIV brake's also, but figured this would be a better alternative to the shim's

did you by chance reinforce the subframe?
i had a plate welded to the front hump above the pumpkin.i didn't go to wild with it though.i don't go to wild with my car and it's only rocking a 61mm turbo.if it does crack,it will probably be do to the ridgesness of the bushing's

Your car looks great, everything looks very clean and done right. I know the feeling about not driving your car, I have only put about 5k on mine since I bought it 2 years ago.... :(
