Hell of a build Ron. When you do things you do them right for sure. Im sure Duane will still bust on ya for goin 2j,(as might I ;) ) but it doesnt change the fact taht you have one of the finest examples of a mkiii supra. Hoep it all works out for ya, and hopefully youll be able to make it down to vegas with her this year.

Thanks guys. I am not going to aim for anything crazy on this motor. If I hit 750-800. I'd be very happy.
Today, I spent some time modifying the pans that I have. I'm not sure if I'm really gonna end up using this one. I have to get ideas from some people I know that have more experience with dry sump systems.
I got a front sump pan from ED (Grandlord...) and will graft half of it to the 2j pan.

damn ur car is gonna be awesome when its done, and i dont think youll have much trouble getting the horsepower your looking for

I chamfered the crankshaft's oil holes and had it balanced and the journals micro polished.
I also drilled out the oil holes on the block's main bores to take advantage of the pump's added volume.
The piston/rod assemblies are all within a quarter of a gram as far as weight so no added work is needed there.
