I just finished the install...and this is how I feel: :squint: :ugh:

The install didn't really go all that smoothly, I accidentally bent the oil feed line really badly...so I was lucky that I had a spare set of lines laying around so I didn't have to fiddle with the existing ones and try to bend it to make it line up.

The turbo seems to be fine also...the first drive (didn't adjust my MBC) it boosted to around 15psi, and hit fuel cut LOL...so then I turned it down, and it was still hitting fuel cut...then I turned it some more, and POP the ball fell out...and is now gone forever...GRRRRR. -_-

Does anyone know what size ball bearing a Grainger Ball & Spring Relief valve uses??

But overall the turbo feels great, pulls as hard at 5psi as the stock turbo did at 10psi...LOL

Well, I have finally gotten the car running right...I had to remove the MBC, because for some reason, the bigger turbo wasn't liking it, and it was caused spiking, surging, and lag problems...I also bumped the boost up to 10psi by shimming the wastegate (3 shims).

I must say, this is the fastest the Supra has ever been! It's a TON of fun to drive, and play with STi's on the freeway! :biglaugh: Can't wait to see the numbers it makes in Vegas!

OMG I WILL NOT LET THIS THREAD DIE!

I can't believe it's been 7 months since I last updated! O_O

I also dyno'ed in Vegas, and it made 296RWHP @ 10psi. ;)

The Supra is currently just sitting, it runs fine, but I have my Mercedes as a daily driver, and am trying to "save" the Supra LOL. I take it out on the weekends, and for short trips, and to meets and such, also a canyon run every so often. ;)

I know!! I sometimes feel like I shouldn't put that car through the abuse of daily driving around SoCal (hot as hell, and LOTS of stop & go/idling) I'm probably sitting in traffic 85% of the time!

Damn, I need a crappy beater car that isn't worth anything lol. My old Merc was crappy (really crappy) but amazingly it was worth a lot of money, I guess due to the gas prices right now, and the fact that it's "trendy" to run a diesel car on WVO and biodiesel. :\

Oh, and just so there's something Supra update-related...(because I know how Supra people are indifferent to anything other than a Supra being discussed ) ...my front wheel is now leaking, and I have to drive around on the stock spare wheel.
