my supra's been crying for attention since i bought the highlander a couple months ago. so i changed the vavle cover gasket and no more oil tears dripping on the headers. today, i spent about 2hrs washing and waxing it. i'll be taking it to work with me.

The supra has been parked for the last 2-weeks, and I finally took it out today...and it was SO DAMN HOT outside, that the glue inside my shift knob started melted, and the knob kept falling off...:(

So I said fuck it and went and bought a TRD shift knob!! :D:D

Looks nice John!

Thanks Kyle!! I actually wanted to get the stock shift knob (burgundy leather) but it has been discontinued, and all the stock is depleted...:( Although, even if it were still available...the list price is $145!! :aigo: (The 89+ black knobs are still available for $130) So the TRD knob was actually the more economical choice...;)

I also wanted to get a new shift boot, but those are no longer produced either...:(

Thanks Aaron! That really means a lot coming from you...one of the few people that saw my Supra in it's early, frustrating days. :)

I'm also working on getting my turbo out to you for upgrading...do I need to pay for it when I drop it off or when I pick it up?

It really is quite an amazing car, I've driven it over 200 miles, with absolutely NO problems...and getting 30+MPG...:aigo:

Thanks Lilmiss!! Yea, I really like the TRD knob too...it's extrememly comfortable, and is actually pretty heavy, which makes shifting smoother and easier! ^_^

Not to mention, with my crappy eBay shift knob, the stitching was so rough that I was getting blisters on my hand after driving in traffic for a while...:(
