Whats your plan for the coil arrangement and valve covers? I think I have a spare set here that I could weld up to get rid of the dip in the middle.

I was going to check out the cop setup on the coils see how that works out... As far as valve covers thats what I want.... was that you that stuck em in the oven afterwards to straighten them back out? Don't remember what thread that was :)

i never messed with my 7m covers, but moded my 2j covers alot. I prestressed the cover by back bending it bolting to the head with about 3 washers under the middle bolts. Came out darn near flat and dont have any leaks.

This week I got my turbo fully mounted with oil lines and all :)
engine and trans bolted up,
Driveline on,
I am going to make my alternator drop bracket

Today I ran and welded my intercooler piping,

Seems like I do more standing /staring /designing /deciding than I do working at this point... But I am very pleased with how it's turning out :)

Yeah I'm not too worried about it at this point with this block

I hope to have my gte block complete in 6months or so... Then I'll spend more time cleaning and will most likely repaint the bay then as well

Gotcha, I just noticed your engine was still grimmy for the amount of work your putting into this..

What I said.... but he's not keeping the block for now or I woulda given him enough hell to have done something about it.... that or the washbay at Toyota is interested in having another Supra hangin out in it.....
